Ocean's Eleven 1960

The heist film or caper film is a subgenre of crime film, consisting of films that tell a caper story. These films feature plots in which a team of skillful criminals carry out a clever and daring robbery.

• Ocean's Eleven (1960) (Comedy, Crime) the original staring the The Rat Pack Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop.
  Danny Ocean (Frank Sinatra) calls on some of his World War II buddies -- including Jimmy Foster (Peter Lawford), Sam Harmon (Dean Martin) and Josh Howard (Sammy Davis Jr.) -- to pull off an elaborate New Year's Eve heist at five casinos in Las Vegas. Eleven members of Danny's crew come together to pull off a perfect robbery, but they suffer a series of setbacks when Duke Santos (Cesar Romero), a former gangster, tries to thwart Ocean's plans to disappear with the money.

• Ocean's Eleven (2001) Master thief Danny Ocean (George Clooney), just out of prison, plans an elaborate Las Vegas three-casino-heist to win back his ex-wife, Tess (Julia Roberts). To that end, he recruits ten other thieves and con men to pull off the complex job, eventually stealing US$160 million.

  The film is both a spin-off from Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's series, and the fourth installment thereof. The cast including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway. The film follows a group of women led by Debbie Ocean, the sister of Danny Ocean, who plan a sophisticated heist at the annual Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
