a whole rollercoaster ride AAAAAH I wish there's a season 2
Little Women (2022): A Gripping Tale of Sisterhood and Corruption (with a But)
"Little Women" isn't your typical heartwarming story about three sisters. This K-drama takes the classic novel's themes of poverty and family and injects them with a shot of suspenseful mystery. We meet the Oh sisters, each struggling financially but fiercely loyal to one another. The discovery of a mysterious 70 billion won throws their lives into chaos, forcing them to navigate a world of wealth and corruption far beyond their experience.
The plot is a rollercoaster. What starts as a seemingly simple question - to keep the money or return it - unravels into a complex web of conspiracies involving the wealthy elite. Each episode throws a new twist, keeping you guessing until the very end. The story is masterfully crafted, with the perfect blend of suspense, social commentary, and moments of genuine warmth between the sisters.
The cast is phenomenal. Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-hyun, and Park Ji-hu deliver stellar performances as the Oh sisters, each bringing their own unique charm and determination to the role. The supporting cast is equally impressive, with standout performances from Uhm Ji-won and Wi Ha-joon.
While "Little Women" excels in many areas, the ending might leave some viewers wanting more. Without giving away spoilers, certain plot threads felt a bit rushed in the final episodes. The resolution, though satisfying overall, could have benefitted from a slightly slower burn.
Here's what you'll love:
A gripping mystery that will keep you guessing
Strong performances from the entire cast
Explores themes of poverty, wealth, and the power of family
Beautiful cinematography and a captivating score
A minor quibble:
The ending felt slightly rushed
Overall, "Little Women" is a must-watch for fans of suspenseful K-dramas with heart. Just be prepared to be left wanting a little bit more when the credits roll.
Story is all over the place with lot of plot holes, but somehow it achieves in giving you the adrenaline rush enough to make you forget about plot holes.
One of the best intriguing & suspense drama series about the main characters got involved in. Like once the plot starts, it doesn't stop from that forward plus cinematography & color pallets are made out of movie production. This makes every scene alive & consistent progression thanks to the script
I still think Park Jaesang's suicide and the fact that Jin Hwayoung is finally not death was a HUGE mistake.
It was slow..for me average
For those who want mystery and thriller and solving cases I guess
[9.58/10] Amazing show, so many twists and intriguing moments. I initially just started it because of Jihu but I totally fell for Goeun's acting, she is an ace and only 31. Can't wait to see more of her in the future. Phenomenal drama with only a handful questionable decisions, anything else was just written perfectly. Definitely a must-watch!

Pretty happy with how things ended (except for the Do-Il and In-Joo bit) but I'm preeetty sure this would have worked even better as a 16-episode drama where they could have explored things and tied them up better. Compensation in the form of a second season? I wouldn't complain.
