So you're telling me you don't have a mobile network connection in the middle of a small village, very close to a highly touristic area (Etretas) ? No, France isn't a second world country.
But then you have a great mobile network connection int he middle of the forest?
How practical.
Also Lupin is basically Steven Seagal in the next episode but in this one he can't seem to throw a punch.
And I hated the part in the bar. It was clearly made for American audience. French people are not anywhere near as racist as is depicted here, even in a small rural village. My wife, who's a black woman, agrees with me.
It's like we're not watching the same TV show compared to part one.
I don’t give a damn about Lupin’s kid, can we just get back to the heist plot?
Some action but unfortunately this show seems to get worse. Why would he walk around with a flashlight? That seems like a very bad idea if you're trying to remain undetected... And obviously you gotta check if the bad guy's really dead - didn't he watch any movies?!? :o :D
Stealing the violin was obviously also a bad idea but that's ok as he was child back then and not the smart thief he's now.
And Raoul better won't be dead somehow, you cruel writers :P
Felt some weakness in this episode but hopes that the rest will be good
Additionally to everything said here, I HATE it so much when they make actors play the violin when they can't even hold it right. At least conceal it somehow. Also, a real player won't ever drop the bow, even if they're shocked, because it's like an extension of your hand. Also, when she "played" the violin at the shop and it was pitch perfect, and than she gave it back to the owner and it made a sound - clearly untuned.
I understand that's too much to ask, but if music is incorporated in the story, is it that hard to have someone with basic training? Playing the violin it isn't such a rare thing, c'mon...
Whatever, I'm watching this for practicing French, so I'll see it like a not too pleasant, but useful lesson, and hope they'll pick up in the next episodes.
Lovely Minis in the car in 1995 …
It seams Paris you can travel in time to 2016!
I knew racism was bad in Europe but everything about this episode was so infuriating.
And then the female police officer, is it really protocol to literally put your arm in the head of someone who’s clearly not a threat? He was already on his knees crying for his kid and if pointing a gun at someone is madness literally putting it on someone is cruelty disgusting an aberration. I hate her now!
Hmmm… continuing the way it ended - somewhat underwhelming.
That sloppy tie on Raoul. Whoever uses ropes anymore anyway, gaffatape is where it’s at. Impossible to get out of.
Throwing the boy a drink when his hands are tied. Ok.
Also the whole “one sound and I’ll kill you” when he doesn’t even know whether the boy is conscious at the moment. Imagine he woke up in a panic and screams and that’s why he dies lol.
Then… the way Lupin quickly ties the police officer to … what? The brake? So efficiently he can’t get out in a second? How?
And then lady officer not even trying to check whether there’s someone in the trunk. Meh.
I thought only white people in America were racist. I guess there is a white racist asshole anywhere you go in the world.
The story is unbelievable. Everyone knows, only America is racist!

I just hope Lupin trained his kid well
