The show is amazing, good dynamic, great characters, seems like we found a new great tv show.
w00t! a co0L Tv s3ri3s 4b0ut h4cking <3 it :)
Actually this show that I saw the grade is so high in website. But I should say that it is not very good in my mind, maybe I expect that so good, so I think I have some disapointment. :(
Very complex story. We are thrown from one problem to another, then the plot twist is really surprising.
So much of this show feels melodramatic and forced.
Soooo Fight Club from the XXI Century... I was expecting better.
A smart show that requires your full attention.
A brilliant look at the schizophrenic nature of our society - how we've allowed the sociopaths and psychopaths to take control of our democracies, convince us that we're happy we're not, that everything is alright when they haven't solved any of the actual problems that plague us. We're given the illusion of choice every single day, whether it's between the products or services we buy, or the politicians we put into office every couple of years. The illusion is crumbling. Hackers, both the good and the bad, will tear off the blinders and social constructs that keep up the charade. The illusion of security that our governments and corporations sell us will be shattered. Mr. Robot is a TV show. It's fiction. But it reflects reality. Criminals stealing people's identity is a huge problem, and if you haven't been a victim, you eventually will be. When it happens - good fucking luck. Banks steal from people, and now hackers steal from banks - the recent heist of $1 billion that was only foiled due to a typo was in the news, but you can bet that there are better, smarter criminals out there, and they're pulling their heists off. The government, the banks, the corporations are doing a shit job of making sure people are getting their fair share, and only their fair share, mainly because these organizations have evolved so as to allow the thieves to be in charge. Our governments and corporations (and unions, and charities, and religious organizations) commit massive fraud against us - lying to us every step of the way so that they can take more than their fair share (of wealth, and of political power). How do you show this reality to people who have lived their entire lives within this illusion? Mr. Robot, that's how.
An interesting and effective TV show. I'm really very intrigued for its season 2.
One of the true hacking based serials I have seen...totally awesome!!
Sorry csi cyber but mr robot is the real deal! Great show & I was hooked after the first episode.
The answer to that question involves spoilers so I will try to dance around it.
There is a certain movie trope that is really hard to do well. Even when it is done well (as it is in a certain famous movie from the late ’90s), it’s rarely done well if you really think about it. Mr. Robot doesn’t execute well in my opinion, and I don’t find the dissociative personality disorder a compelling excuse.
If I went back and watched the first season and tried to see if they were fair would it make it better? If they were fair, it would. But I’m not about to do that unless you convince me to.
God father I know ur a king and I am a small person I am trying this for a big cause and I promise u that I will never use this story and will just do for aa very good cause and no one will be get any harm from my side and u will be like God to me
watched the first season back in 2015 when it was airing, and now after almost ten years, decided to actually watch this show and finish it;
having watched season 1 now for a second time and knowing some of the details, it changes the whole perspective;
anyway, i liked it, it had some great moments, but i also really loved it's directing style and the way the shots were framed, and the characters placed
This season is such a comfort watch for me. There's something about the hacking, the mental health discussions and the depth of the characters that makes this season so well rounded and easy to slip into. The presentation style is also unique and touches on real hacking methods rather than the usual Hollywood terminal hammering. I watched this season once many years ago when the show first aired, and then again in 2021, and I never ended up continuing past the first episodes of Season 2. Having returned to it again this year for the third time, I found it as equally enrapturing as I did all that time ago. I think there is something about how contained and "small" the story is in this season that really lends well to the overall delivery. Writing this after completing Season 2 for the first time, I find the reduced scope of Season 1 just so much better than the more broad, higher tier plot points introduced later down the road. I hear opinion is pretty divided on Season 2 though so maybe I'm not alone in this thinking, and I've heard nothing but good things about 3 & 4, so onward we go. But this season, by itself, is something special.
Start was insane good but so much plot holes its getting worse every episode ...
Maybe a little naive in its social commentary and over-stylized villains, but I am liking the dark tone, the focus on the characters rather than the story, and the way it plays with camera angles and editing along with Elliot's feelings. The convoluted and derivative plot, which is pretty much Fight Club with keyboards instead of muscles, is not exactly the show's biggest strength. Too many things are poorly explained and hardly anything that happens seems to have any real consequences on the characters. Are NY police that dumb? It was pretty obvious that Mr. Robot wasn't a real thing, but I didn't expect him to a projection of Elliot's father. Not a big fan of Angela's storyline so far, but it looks like it might improve from the next season.
This is the first ever show I really started watching and just wanted to watch to the end!
Probably one of the best and disappointing shows of 2015. Some inconsistencies sometimes (especially concerning of the personality of the main character, but he's so complicated...). We're surprised by constants reversals situations (even if the middle of the season is quiet long), and there's a real quality in the production (amazing soundtrack corresponding perfectly which the story).
An awesome show. A must see!
Really enjoy this show. Seems funny that the show has a rating of 90% on here, but not a single episode has a rating over 86%.
I very much enjoyed this show, some of it was a bit predictable, but only if you've seen a ton of movies. Loved Christian Slater's character and how he played it. Wondering just how crazy is Elliot. This is a must see, reminds me of something that should have been on AMC. Loved the Kubrick style of video/score.
Amazing show, amazing cast, wow. I can't wait for 2nd season.

One of the best show. I could tell just from seeing the first episode! It's renewed for season 2 just after it's 1st episode. That's awesome.
