1x07 Trick

So.. I must have watched this show with no attention at all, otherwise, this ending is just silly. If Billy sends a message saying RUN to Ruby with Fiona recording it and with intention of writing a book about it, why did Fiona spent all episodes chasing him? And, if somewhere along with the show there was an explanation to this, like maybe he said that to Fiona and then gave up of writing a book about it, why does Ruby act like this instead of wondering why Fiona chased both if a possible book was on the move? In the end I'm only disappointed with Phoebe Waller-Bridge for making part of such American rubbish story (no offense, there's plenty of good things American but never imagine Phoebe Waller-Bridge making part of one so basic). Only one positive thing on this show and it's an unpopular opinion but whatever, first time seeing something that they don't make a guilty mom out of the main character just because she left her kids for a period of time for love. Thank you!

I’m not mad at Ruby’s decision, she came to the realization that you really can't run after all. I wasn't expecting a happy ending.

What I didn't like - the show spent most of its time world-building, we were just uncovering some of the real layers of the main characters and then they introduced the entire police officer/taxidermist sideline (which was absolutely pointless) and then boom, it's over!

RUN had a lot of promise but it was always, at best, surface-level deep.

Oh, I’m mad, I decided to watch this cause I thought it :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:ended:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: as in it was a limited series not that it was canceled! But still I guess we can picture the ending, Ruby goes back to her family and to her miserable suburban middle class karen life which is okay and the other part should be Billy going back to his fake public persona BUT for some reason they added a murder plotline that felt so out of place and took the series to such a different place, so I guess Babe arrested Billy and then he got away with it and is living a lonely life.
For me it would’ve been better if the series focused on the train, cause everything off the train felt unnecessary and too much, so the train and their choice of running or going back to their lives, but still I enjoyed Fiona (especially the department store scene) and we got Laurel Halliday and Babe Cloud!
