As always, the members of the RNLI are some of the best of us but this episode had a bunch of examples of how utterly stupid and reckless the public (almost always men) are, like the surfer who went out during the storm in spite of national weather warnings and even RNLI warnings. Infuriating to see RNLI members have to risk their lives to save such dickheads.
