where is martha kent? it's clark's engagement after all she should have been there

It doesn't make sense that she's still stuck in Washington.

otherwise the story is pretty cool even if it lacks budget, Clark beats the villain at the end too easily

Oh that proposal went out very smoothly! I couldn’t believe it, cause nothing goes easy for Clois.
And that engagement party had the most random guests, that’s what happens when you get rid of all your regular guests. In occasions like these Pete, Jimmy, even Chloe are missed!
And what makes me sad about Carter is that he was way underused!!! I wish Shayera was introduced too and maybe offed her last season or earlier this season and that way Carter’s passing would’ve been more meaningful. Also I kinda shipped Lois and Carter, there was a vibe there.
That funeral scene was very powerful! (I mean for a the cw show, it was cool) but I don’t get why they couldn’t book AC, Flash, Zantanna, Cyborg (rip) like was their budget limited? Were the actors busy? (I don’t think so) But I’ll take it as a justice league meet up!
And wait that was all it took for Clark to stop Slade?
