The police cases are ok, but whoever is in charge of writing this show sucks at doing the first response storylines.
If you get called to a scene where the building is rigged with explosives that react with water, the VERY FIRST thing you should do is cut off the water supply. It's basic common sense. I don't get the need for the liquid nitrogen, just close the dang valve! It was RIGHT THERE!
