i wish it wasn't animated, but you know what they say from low budgets comes great narratives.
I thought this was a pretty decent mini-series. The rotoscoping is a neat stylized choice for a war series. At a few points it can look a bit washed out especially in the night scenes but it's not too big of a deal. I'm not a war historian so I had never heard about the Company involved as this is about a real group of men who did these actions. Overall I enjoyed it, worth the three hour running time I'd say.
I was not sure if I would like this series because I never see animated series, but I am a fan of war cinema and this program is very well done and the war stories it tells are incredible, I liked it a lot
As a WW2 buff, this was a great story and it shows how everyone is a victim of war. Visually stunning with a fantastic "company of heroes" vibe to it.

Storytelling is really good in this Mini TV-Show. Each of the 4 episodes focuses on a specific battle in the ongoing timeline of soldier Felix Sparks. I just wished they would’ve dialed down on the rotoscoping. In a lot of scenes it looks like a 2013 cel-shade video game (and not in a good way), also it stutters in certain scenes so badly. The overall experience suffered from this.
