I enjoyed the characters and jokes here. Very light stuff to watch. I did not find the laugh track all that disturbing.
Netflix, bring back Rooster! He is essential
The Colorful Family With Ashton Kutcher & Sam Elliot, And Everyone Thrown Into The Mix - It Does Get Better With Each Season & Sam Elliot Is Genuinely Perfect Opposite Ashton Kutcher & Netflix Is The Perfect Platform For The Profanity Adding The Right Kind Of Country Flavor That You Can Enjoy A Laugh From It - It Had It’s Dramatic Moments With A Few Comedic Breaks Thrown In - A Show Worth Watching
The Ranch fills a niche in TV that isn't really populated by any other shows. There are very few shows that portray this sort of lifestyle. Even fewer are ones that include comedy. I like that is breaks from the typical rich LA/New York suburbia sitcom setup. It started a little slow, it was clear that everyone was still trying to find the rhythm to their interactions with each other, but quickly grew on me. I think Season 2 was even funnier and better than Season 1. Best part about this show is the chemistry between Ashton and Danny and pulling out Rooster really killed much of that chemistry.
What I don't like about the show:
Some episodes are very repetitive. For example, during the Part Four each episode was just one character having an explosive argument with another and then having them make up by the end. And I think their problems with the ranch is recycled more than anything else. Every season they are fighting for the ranch, or someone is in danger of losing the ranch or not being able to sell the herd.
I don’t like the actress who plays Maggie. Her delivery is always so flat, robotic and monotonous. Also, I'm so over Hank - his random interjections have gotten so predictable that you can always tell when he is about to say something.
I didn't expect I'd enjoy it as much as I have. I especially like that I didn’t feel a particular political agenda being pushed. Or any agenda at all.
Netflix, bring back Rooster, he is an essential part of this show!
The laugh track is a real turn off
Another classic hit from Ashton Kutcher with an array of colorful characters and Sam Elliot & Danny Masterson making for a very unique duo.
Hilarious and grounded in reality, a real comedy hit.
Netflix is the right platform for it, the profanity adds the right flavor to this ranch bunch and I for one want more episodes.
Was 9/10 before Masterson's firing, now i think it's the usual comedy series. Still acceptable, but there isn't any reason to suggest the vision of it. #bringbackRooster
Yes the laugh track was really annoying at first but now I just tune it out. It took a couple of episodes for me to really get into. Now I really like it. Major Sam Elliot fan and I like his cranky personality lol.
I confuzzled. I just finished watching all 8 seasons for a 2nd time on Netflix. It shows on Netflix that there are only 4 seasons. Odd. Also the genre shows "Family" this is not for family unless you don't mind the F-word constantly being used.
Other than that, it is a fantastic Comedy-Drama series. A must watch for sure. Even tears in some parts and lots of laughs, and sentiment.
8 Seasons on Netflix, but here are only 4 , why?
I like the first two season, but after then the series lost something. It was easy to predict the ending.
Sucks without Rooster. I'm out.
I'll never noticed a laugh track?! Maybe because I watch a dubbed version?
Rooster was fired from the show when 5 women came forward and said he raped them. Also his wife stated he raped her as well.
Love this show every episode I am laughing my ass off
They need to re-release this without the laugh track. I couldn't make it past 10 minutes.
Only current show with a laugh track where I actually enjoy most of the jokes
I immediately liked this show from the beginning but I have to agree with others that the show started to get much smoother after Colt got settled back into Ranch life, which took until the 2nd part in my case. Didn't really realize till just now that Abby's mom is the same woman from That 70s show, but the list keeps growing.. What would be great is if Kurtwood Smith joined the show as another "pissed-off-at-everything" rancher. He could definitely pull it off.
As for the laugh track, it has never bothered me. But the show doesnt really need one. I laugh several times every episode.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOW! Way funner than "That 70's Show" love the dynamics between this group of guys Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, & Wilmer Valderram, nothing beats having Kelso, Hyde & Fez back together again!!! Even better they also threw in "Kitty Forman" a.k.a. Debra Jo Rupp as the character of Abby's Mom. Now I just really want to them give us a character played by Mila Kunis then I will be completely satisfied! Lol!!!
If u are seeking around for some laughing this show is the right place! I really like it! I can define it an easy smile!
I can't relate to life on the ranch, yet that doesn't really matter. I do think PT2 was better from Pt1, maybe this is the sort of series that takes a handful of episodes to really get into? I'm not saying it started out bad, just that things seem to pick up much more in PT2. The Ranch has some good moments, good laughs and was just overall a good watch.
Light show, Masterson always good, Kutcher not bad.
Grady Lee Richmond as Hank owns the show :D
I enjoy this show a lot, the laugh track has never really bothered me though. Hope this goes on for at least a few seasons to let a show flesh out its story. You don't see a show get the chance to do that very much anymore.
This is a bad, really bad show

The Ranch is ok. It would be a lot better if #Netflix would have left out the laugh tracks. It only goes to tell people that the humour is not funny enough to get a genuine laugh from the home audience.
