7.0/10. Half of the episode was entertaining and amusing, and the other half was fine, but kind of uninspired.
The Team Venture (and friends) half of the episode was lots of fun. When Billy Quizboy and Pete White banter about whether Fantastic Voyage is a cliche or a classic, it's the kind of meta, genre-mixing comedy the show thrives with. Throw in clever little gags like Hank thinking the color of someone's tongue is kind of a "light Wednesday" and Brock finding out what happened to "The Sevens" when he and the boys come upon a pair of corpses wearing their clothes lodged in Dr. Venture's brain, and you have a solid bit of comedy and a good narrative throughline to hang it on.
But The Monarch's obsession with his butterglider was weird, and weird can work on this show, but it wasn't especially funny or clever either. On top of that, while I like the new rough and tumble 21 (and I'm glad to get the banter with him and 24 back), the whole going rogue to snap The Monarch out of his obsession and maybe woo Dr. Girlfriend fell kind of flat for me too.
Overall, there were enough laughs to keep me invested, but it wasn't the show's finest hour.

I love this show so much.
The music for the big attack on the Venture Compound is superb. It really makes the whole action sequence exciting. You completely forget that you’re watching a half-hour animated comedy series for a few seconds there.
