It's the Tarzan story you know, only a little different.
This movie was not what I was expecting at all. I was expecting the Disney version we all know so well, but this was a pleasant surprise. If you have ever watched Disney film and thought "but I want to know what happens to all the characters next" you are for sure going to love this movie. I mean, I'm even down for a sequel of this one right now.
I think Alexander Skarsgård did a great Tarzan, very strong but he also had something soft and loving going on, which made him more "human". I liked that. Margot Robbie made Jane a very strong female among all the males, which made her an even more impressive character. I really enjoyed Samuel L. Jackson as well, he was funny and wise and I liked it. I do feel like Christoph Waltz didn't really stand out with his character, I mean, he did a great job as always, but I think he has greater works.
All the animals looked so real and mighty, most of the visuals were truly beautiful. Which, for me, is a great plus. I really enjoyed this story, so I would really recommend this one to all of you :-)
