@misnomer The problem, from where I stand in regards to the relationships, is that not everyone has them. In real life there are people who don't have a partner or are married and are lucky. This show has taken the approach that being on your own is bad and pitiful and that's what I don't like.

@finfan Sure, that's the point they're (inadvertently?) making now, but what I meant in my comment was that, way before this (like, 2 or 3 seasons ago, maybe even earlier than that), the show started to focus too much on couples and the issues regarding their relationships instead of nerds hanging out (like the show was at the beginning and what used to make it so much fun to watch).

@misnomer Right, that too. At first that seemed natural as a means of character developement. But I agree it's become a different show. It is the nostalgia of the early seasons that keeps me watching but at the same time I am OK with it ending.
