@jim222001 i get exactly what you mean because im only still watching because of the mystery but 18 episodes into the show and i feel like there still isnt anything we really know. before we learned literally anything about the monsters at all were onto the new music box thing, which is really really cool and creepy and i love it, but i wish we had more than "they can kill them now i think" after 18 episodes.

I can picture the people on this site reviewing the first episode of Lost. “They better tell us by the second episode what is special about the island and what the monster is. Or I am outta here!”
The show is a mystery for a reason. Plus one monster being killed does count as the show moving forward a little bit.
