Absolutely fantastic stuff; went in with high expectations and they were absolutely met. At least the two first episodes were extremely enjoyable.
Of course there'll always be detractors, especially the people who seem to HATE everything Marvel yet for some reason keep hatewatching everything Marvel produces. I guess they have some sort of masochism going on? Mostly they seem to just have decided everything post-Endgame is shit (while conveniently forgetting that The Dark World wasn't exactly stellar) and will go into every new movie or series expecting it to be shit.
You know what you get when you go into something "already knowing it'll be shit"? You'll probably think it's shit. Your expectations shape your experience, and you have decided to be a hateful little goblin. You could stop hating at any time, or you could just go watch something you think you'll enjoy. But it seems you hate enjoyment.
Go touch some grass and find a healthier hobby. Hatewatching will just shave years off your life.

Duo might finally become a trio. And maybe Agatha even surpass WandaVision and Loki at the end. We will see how it all gonna end.
From the moment crew was assembled, the show became a banger. Cast, setting, characters, humor, music everything just works.
First half, gives off D&D vibe from reluctant bonding to general shenanigans and sudden moment of shit just got real raising stakes. Line delivery is pure joy.
But of course, it's incredibly woke... it has 6 women and 1 gay teen! Brace yourselves, 2 of them not of European descent. And those witches keep mentioning unfairness of witches trials in the show about Witches. Crazy I know. Woke just gone wild :pensive:
For normal people, if you don't vibe with the show after episode 3, you could always drop it if it's not your cup of tea. Don't force yourselves like some weirdos;)
that was the most confusing 1st episode I have ever watched. I wish they included a little introduction to character and her past, since I haven't watched Wanda Vision and have absolutely no idea who's who or what's happening. main actress is trying too hard to be nonchalant, it gets awkward and uncomfortable at times.
They disneyfied it too much, but still intringuing...
I liked the first two episodes without being a big Marvel fan. The witchcraft theme and the teen character give a lot of play. Let's see how it progresses.
Made for middle aged white moms who have a passing interest in super hero’s. So very limited demographic.
I'm shocked the reviews on here are so bad. I'm not a Marvel fan at all, but this is a LOT of fun. Kathryn Hahn is killing it!

My wife called it correctly, it's basically Hocus Pocus.
Can we get a show that doesn’t put comedy first? I wish characters responded to events with real emotion and not solely relying on humor. If humor is involved, it usually overpowers any other emotion the writers are trying to portray.

We knew what was announced and viewed on its own, the series might not be so bad - but as a standalone Halloween special within the MCU.
Marvel once stood for creativity - today it seems as if nerds are compulsively producing content on an assembly line that has lost all approach and connection to reality because its creators haven't left the studio since the start.
And no, we don't want to be delivered Doom when we're calling for Iron Man.

"Agatha All Along" is a monumental disappointment, embodying a tonal mess that veers wildly between childish humor and dark moments, resulting in a cringe-inducing and disjointed viewing experience. The writing is lazy and uninspired, with characters that are flat, hollow, and defined by single, uninteresting traits. Despite a talented cast, including Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, and Patti LuPone, the show wastes their potential with underdeveloped roles and lackluster plotlines. The trials of the Witches' Road are unchallenging and easily overcome by convenient spells, making the entire journey feel inconsequential and boring. With its drably sassy dialogue, sluggish plotting, and failure to muster any comedic energy, "Agatha All Along" stands as one of the weakest and most unnecessary entries in the MCU, feeling more like a frivolous footnote than a meaningful addition to the franchise.
After watching the first 2 episodes of this show, it's blatantly obvious that the creative directors wanted to go out of their way to add "comedy" to the script and it just comes out as garbage. The delivery of these lines had me itching to find the closest door to bash my head against, just horrible acting from a decent cast. The plot is at best mediocre and honestly I don't know what their objective of going down this "road". I don't want to be that guy that says "go woke, go broke" but God I hope Apple buys Disney and reshapes the trajectory of these new Disney shows.
The first episode was really rough. Kathryn Hahn can't pull off a convincing 'evil witch stuck in a gruff detective's life' and the screenplay makes a mess out of the progression. That setup goes on much longer than it needs to: everyone who watched Wandavision already knows what is happening and wants it to move on, and anyone who didn't would probably be confused and annoyed by everything that is happening. Once she gets out of the spell, though, the show become easier to enjoy. Watching Aubrey Plaza get to play the sadistic witch personality that she enjoys pantomiming in interviews was mildly amusing (even if it is just type-casting for her).
The witches road, the motifs and hints at lore might keep me watching. Its good timing before halloween, so maybe it will currate a Hocus Pocus style vibe. I'm worried it will lean too serious as what we've seen of the acting and screenplay (by the end of E2, both are incredibly weak) will not support a serious story. It needs to lean hard into ham territory, or I'm going to tune out. If they lean heavy into horror elements (to tie it together with where Wanda went in the latest Dr. Strange movie) then I'd expect it to become a completely lame disaster of a show instead of just being 'ok' and forgettable.
Kathryn Hahn really shouldn't be acting at all, let alone leading a show. That, alone, should warn you away from this horrible show. Besides, if you want a heavy dose of agenda driven content, this is for you.
