THey cliched all of this because they don't want Mary to know that the kid is in fact Edith's daughter???? I mean come on...
Sadly, the series is wrapping with cliches after cliche. I really hope to be wrong but this episode is just setting cliched tension to force happy ending for all characters involved.
Fantastic. I don't think that's the end of the trouble with Marigold; I don't think the farmers family will go quietly.
