can’t believe that death—rip ms chen liu she was so kind.

but what a twist.

i find it interesting how this series finds seemingly mundane but brutal ways to up the ante. me personally, im killing myself by the end of the first week. because who wants to live that badly? some demon ain’t about to play in my face forever.

Solid return to the series to kick off Season 3. Not without at least a few lines of cheesy dialog, in typical From fashion.

I'm interested to see how they solve the food issue. They need 3 months for new crops, and only had a month or two worth of animals/meat. Then they lost a few animals too.

Also pretty weird to see the monsters take a hostage. I hope we get a good explanation next episode that isn't convenient plot magic aka Boyd's impenetrable plot armor.

Overall, I can't shake the feeling that this will have a really dumb ending. For now, I'm enjoying the ride and trying to ignore that feeling.

Mixed feeling really. All 2 season they preach - one step outside at night and that's it. Now they roaming with animals without any protection or plan and all good :P (1 casualty is nothing).

It had some problems, but I really enjoyed this episode!
My favourite scene was when Tabitha found Victor's father :sob:
And I kept saying, "please Victor don't die now!" but unfortunately now Kenny will return to find his mother is gone

Why didn't they just kill all the animals and wreck all the crops before?

Man that ending gave me goosebumps. What a beginning for the season!

Yeah, don't think, 'feeding on hope,' holds water.
The evil there just wants to mow the lawn and poison the land.

Jaw was on the floor with that ending! Did not see that episode ending the way it.

"A place where monsters come out at night. A place that no one can leave."
We're so back. :scream:

Very good episode. Still suffers from the Lost factor, where things seem to never be explained - and so your mileage will likely vary depending on that. The Tabitha storyline is very interested, but hopefully, it's explained and not just done for the sake of exploring the world.

The CGI is really bad in places. I don't remember it being this bad - budget cut? And finally the actions of the monsters have seemingly changed, and there's no real justification for why.

Still an easy watch but if they don't follow through, can see this being a revised 6.

Why didn’t these monsters at night not kill or release all of the animals and destroy all the vegetables in the, maybe 40 years, before?

Kinda weird that they were able to do that but didn’t.

I have watched lot of tv shows and movies. Rick He and Elizabeth Moy speaks the most accurate cantonese, I know because i am a cantonese myself. Sad to see Tian Chen has to go.

WHAT THE FUCK?
That was pretty brutal! They're getting smarter and more vicious! They haven't done anything like this before; setting the animals free to deprive them of their only source of food left? Responding to Boyd saying "this place will never break me" and taking it personally and taking a hostage just to torment him? What the bloody hell is happening

Great show but should have seen it coming that Randall is the Sawyer type. A jerk who secretly is a hero when you need him to be one.
I keep waiting for him to die violently. Since the actor played someone who did in Slasher.

They don’t want them all dead. They like to play with them before they kill them. That is why they never chase or run. They are not responsible for the crops growing rotten. I believe this is tied to Fatima’s pregnancy since she was supposed to be infertile til she got here. And they didn’t kill the animal’s because they were able to get the animals to begin with simply because some entity or whatever kept putting animals there for them. Soemthing has now changed, the creatures like them hopeless. They know they’re out of food and only have the animals left. THAT is why they killed them. Because now they ar3 Reallly fkd

Hands down the best show on tv. It’s just like LOST but not shitty and the entire story was fleshed out before it was filmed. Michael from LoST is the lead and he would only sign on if it made sense and didn’t go the way of LoST. I’ve watched the full series 25+ x. It’s so amazing and a great show to create theories on

My brain is still processing that ending. Im shooketh. A great set up for whatever the show has in store for us.

GOD i am so sad about that death but at the same time i love when a show isn't afraid to just ruin your entire life in a season premiere.

Oh come on!!! Second question after “where am I?” Should have been “what day is its?!” She was wondering and loosing precious moments doing nothing, going to confesssion!!!! At the end she did something right!

At last something to wait every week. I’m so afraid that they will give dome dump “Lost” or worst ending on this show.

Also who on the right mind gave the green light to change the ending theme!!??!?!?!?!??!
