Solid return to the series to kick off Season 3. Not without at least a few lines of cheesy dialog, in typical From fashion.

I'm interested to see how they solve the food issue. They need 3 months for new crops, and only had a month or two worth of animals/meat. Then they lost a few animals too.

Also pretty weird to see the monsters take a hostage. I hope we get a good explanation next episode that isn't convenient plot magic aka Boyd's impenetrable plot armor.

Overall, I can't shake the feeling that this will have a really dumb ending. For now, I'm enjoying the ride and trying to ignore that feeling.

@dnaxiii We've seen the monsters releasing the animals, so not sure planting new crops really helps as long as whatever is keeping them there doesn't allow them to have it. The monsters might as well destroy the crops at any time.

@daniels0xff Yes, my point was that the food situation seems practically impossible to solve.

@dnaxiii The thing is that the monsters could have caused that shortage at any point. I don't know what the explanation will be but there's bound to be some logic to "why now" for all of this.

They did leave someone alive once before, although with a metal rod thru her brain. Similar in that she was also forced to watch someone get eaten...

@dnaxiii Maybe Boyd will get pinned to the column through the brain like that other chick.:grimacing:
