The mystery of the situation has far taken a backturn to the melodrama. The forced kiss between Elishia and John as eye roll inducing, the reveal of Paddy being Beau's relative was just poor writing. The only thing that really worked for me was the shock of Maria's death, something the show really didn't do a good job of stressing the finality.
