Grimm is become really uninteresting and repetitive, its hard to keep pace with something so boring every week :/ Good stuff in an episode only comes in bits and pieces.
Well, I finished it. I wanted to like this show So. BAD. I love fantasy shows. I can tolerate police procedurals so long as the ensemble is good. And it wasn't entirely awful. I did finish all six seasons after all. But something just never clicked here. The cast never really gels, although there are a few true standouts (Monroe, Rosalee, Renard, Wu. God I love Wu and his much needed "we all know this is ridiculous" wisecracks.). The writing feels really lazy half the time. Characters make dumb decisions constantly to force the plot to some awful place that it really doesn't need to go. And then in season four, they basically reboot in a failed attempt to get somewhere more interesting than monster of the week. sigh It's just a trainwreck of a show. But worth the watch for fantasy buffs, And Sasha Roiz fans. Dzam, that man needs his own show.
One of the BEST series I have seen. And I have seen a lot! Fully recommended. This is one of those shows that every character reacts to every situation like any of us in their place would do. There is very little to argue here once you understand the plot.
Characters 4/5

I started watching this show because the concept seemed interesting. A cop who can see monsters that has to deal with a moral conflict of doing his job or following his family’s legacy. Unfortunately this show has moved away from that concept too many times that I have to take a minute every episode to figure out what it’s about.
I think the biggest problem in the show is Juliette, Eve and they all lead to Bitsie Tulloch (there are numerous articles on the net that list her as one of the “worst actors on TV” to “the most cyberbullied actresses on TV” and many more). It amazes me that a show can stay this dedicated to an actress knowing that it just isn’t working. If you review the show from the first season you can see that the writers tried everything to keep her in the show. So much so that they started changing the main concept of the show and including more relationship issues. While most fans (and myself) didn’t care too much for the relationship issues with Nick and Juliette, it wasn’t a deal breaker. After the relationship issues Juliette started doing inexcusable things burning the trailer and more importantly playing a part in Nick’s mother’s death. At this point fans rallied to the internet and were asking for Juliette’s head so much so that the writers had to do it. Now it’s past the midpoint of season 5 and bam look its Juliette again but she changed her name to Eve? Whatever they want to call her, its Bitsie Tulloch. If the writers wanted to introduce a kickass wesen killing machine, great I’m all for it but why make it Bitsie Tulloch with all the previous drama the character had? Do the writers think the fans won’t notice Bitsie Tulloch because her name is Eve now?
We all know Nick and Juliette are in a serious relationship of camera and I wish them the best but there has to be more of a reason that this actress plagues this show. I don’t think anyone can say that she is a great actress or that fans want her on the show (especially after all that she has done) so what is it that makes these writers start writing the show around her?
Here is a brief evolution of the Juliette character which in turn has changed the direction of the show numerous times:
Juliette the unknowing girlfriend
Juliette the nosey girlfriend
Juliette the cheating girlfriend
Juliette the evil b*tch
Juliette the killing machine, oh wait its Eve with all of Juliette’s memories?
It’s ridiculous to think that Nick won’t have some feeling (whether good or bad) towards Juliette/Eve. Let’s see, you cheated on me, you tried to kill me and my friends, you burned whatever family heirlooms I had in the trailer, you helped kill my mother but hey you changed your name so we’ll let bygones be bygones…oh I love you!? Yeah that does make sense, does it?
The shows dedication to this actress and the fact that it has moved so far away from the original Grimm concept has made me lose my interest in it and now we have a government sanctioned wesen and grimm dream team?
Change the name from Grimm to the Bitsie Tulloch Show
it started off strong but then got bad
Finished it all in about a month. Don't think I've ever done that before. Was a great show and wish it was picked up by a new network to either keep going or if the cast wants to move on intro a next generation with their kids
This show had its ups and downs but it was one of the very few shows that I never tired of watching and always looked forward to weekly. It may have jumped the shark a while ago but that didn't bother me; it was always entertaining week to week. Just a great cast and a great concept. Stinks that it's run its course since it ain't easy finding good sci-fi/fantasy. Guess they'll replace it with another standard cop show or Chicago SVU something.
Loved the start of the show and wanted to keep going. Not enough to keep me hooked thought currently waitlisted until I have nothing better to watch T_T
THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!! Can't WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON!!!!
Watching the series for the 3rd time. Great show except for the very poor acting by Bitsie Tulloch.
A great show which was a blend of Fantasy with reality, creatures that could in exist in this reality brought to life in the right show. Grimm was a show I always looked forward to, and I wasn't expected the series to end but it did end on a high note. They really did the story justice, bringing it to a climax, with a great end. You never know what to expect from the next monster, from season to season they grew together battling the forces of evil and protecting people. Nick Burkhardt was the perfect Grimm with the right set of people around him, and I really loved all the characters that developed over the years into the tight knit group. What a twist of an ending! Bravo!
What a series finale, I didn't even know the show was going to end but it did end with a very high note. I'm seriously going to miss Grimm, it got the right combination of Fantasy and Reality, lets hope for a sequel.
I just wanted to say, Fuck NBC for not renewing Grimm.
I have been watching this so for so long and I'm utterly sad that it has found it's ending. I loved the adventures Nick and his friend had and feel like I have become one of the people in Nick his group of friends which I think you can basically call his family. I saw this show grow and become better, I saw how the animations became more real, how the storyline "grew up" as well as all the characters, and I will miss it. I truly will. I haven't seen one boring episode of Grimm, and that says something.
I don't like the thought of no new Grimm episodes, but I have enjoyed this show to the fullest.
This season finale is what the show needed to reborn. This season had turned to be more about "the wesen of the week" that really follow the original concept of the serie. I hope they change in the next season, because the serie used to be really good. Although, the idea of "bringing back Juliette" doesn't convince me at all. I hope she and Nick won't end up together after everything she had done (like Juliette and Eve), but I guess is up to the writers :/
And Diana...? yeah, that girl is the devil. Definitely.
THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!! Can't WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON!!!!
If you like Supernatural or even something like Charmed then you'll probably like this. Of course the later seasons aren't as good as the first few. But it's like that with most series.
Nice, monsters, detective, magic, culture, 9/10
very mediocre show... i did not find myself rooting for any character. nick /adalind/juliette storyline was one of the dumbest... like after the kids were born adalind went all soft and lost all her hexenbiest juice.. wish she was the badass hexenbiest till the end... some standalone episodes were quite nice to watch though
Watched during initial run on TV - was gra* great upto Season 3 then went downhill from Nick/Adalind storyline. Dragged myself through S4 but never made it through the rest. Caught the Finale and was extremely disappointed whith what had happend to storuy and characters that I initially enjoyed watchinh. Watch but expect to be dissar* dissatisfied with end results.
BEST SHOW EVER OMG IIS THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF CRIME, SCI-FI, COMEDY AND ROMANCE. I LOVE IT! AMAZING CAST AND SO WORTH IT!
I felt in love with Nick since the firts episode. even though I stop watching at the end of the season 1 because I couldn't stand his girlfriend.Bah. I was all about Nick and Adalind, so when I learn the new storyline I was back on track. Gosh.It was so exciting!!!
Loved every second of it
So boring only shitty faces
Whoa this show was almost good as supernatural.Only 6 seasons why?!?
I was late getting into Grimm as not generally my genre. After much persuasion i gave in and watched all seasons over a few months.. Total convert and cannot believe another platform hasn't picked it up.. Nick and Monroe had a lot more to do.. BRING IT BACK!!
I love this show! Too bad it ends at Season 6. : (
I'm gonna miss this TV Show ;-P
Next season only at October's end ?? But I want to see the final showdown ! Never been so angry about villains till now
great show ,juleit was a bad actor for a juliet, robot witch, much better.
One of my favorite shows with so much crap coming out!
I would say that Juliette's turning-into-a-witch thing is the only interesting thing happened in the whole season. The rest is just repetitive stuff.
I like the show a lot. However, this season is really irritating with the Juliette as a hexenbieste story line because she's incredibly selfish, mean, and pretty much acting like a spoiled brat. While I understand it's part of what she's become now, it's really been dragging out to the point of annoyance and becoming dull. They really need to finish it up already.
Awesome series, hope they continue this series for like 10 or 20 seasons!
awesome program, been desperately binge watching this to catch-up
Awesome Show, keep it coming with seasons
THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!! Can't WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON!!!!
I have an idea about how Adalind removed Nick's powers. Being a Grimm means being able to see the truth of who someone really is. Well, Adalind twice deceived Nick. He failed to see her for who she truly was when she appeared as Juliette, and again when he slept with her. Perhaps all she has done is used that failure to suppress Nick's ability to see the truth...?
I would never have tought that Grimm would become my favorite show at the end of its third season. The quality of the show is constantly raising and is at the moment the only show I'm waiting for the next episode and still being amazed.
love it! #nuffsaid
I love this show.!
It's true that it can get repetitive after a while but I have to admit that I am still hooked. Certain characters are getting more interesting and I thought the show improved by the episode. Definitely sticking around for the third season.
Surprisingly enjoyable
Ok show, but CGI is awful.
Come on people, it's Buffy and it's finding its feet.
At first is a little slow, but then is really good
boring. it's always the same
Well ... the first episodes was really predictable and not so great, but the last two -8th & 9th was really interesting. I think that the've made some improvements. I can't say that is my favorite show, but I like it so far.
That fact that this show, with it's horrible writing and predictability, is considered one of the best new shows this season is just sad.
I watched the 1st 2 episodes and I must say that so far the show looks pretty promissing.
So havent seen this yet. What do u all think?

I started to watch this a few weeks ago as the "next" big project to watch after finishing X-Files that I never fully watched as I was a bit too young when it originally aired and only seen a few episodes in the later seasons.
I must say this has some resemblance to the X-Files but only in terms of the "monster of the week" episodes. I like that.
But this show lacks the ingenuity that X-Files has with the most of the time incredibly great scripts and the overall fantastic cast.
Nick, the Grimm (David Giuntoli) is a terrible, terrible miscast. I have watched the first two seasons now and I still really dislike that guy and still think another person would have been better for this role. So far, the show is greatly carried by Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz).
It is said that the Grimm has some "powers" that make him who he is, additionally he is a Detective, making him, generally, somewhat smart figuring stuff out to solve cases. But when it is about Grimm stuff, he is stupid as f*ck for plot reasons only, even if they are obvious.
There's also this gimmick of his phone ringing, interrupting whatever he is just doing. This is probably the most annoying thing in this whole show, starting to seriously piss me off. This show pushes this really, really hard to a point, where you start to anticipate it in any kind of precarious situation that would solve plots right there if it wouldn't ring and in 9 out of 10 cases (felt) it does ring..
Just as unlikable as David is, so is Russell Hornsby (Hank) overstrained as an actor with his role as it seems. He is such a sterile cardboard character that I wouldn't mind if he gets killed off as cannonfodder at some point, there's no (believable) depth to his character at all.
The Juliette arc was awful as well, it held the complete show back in terms of progressing deeper into the Grimm story. The time that is put in here could have been better used when cut in third, the rest of the time put into more monster of the week episodes or to flesh out Hank's backstory.
The Juliette arc and Hank's arc to get to know the Grimm world were both overly dramatic and as I said for Juliette's part too much.
If you'd see someone change his appearance before your eyes after you shot him, you wouldn't go insane, you'd try hard to rationalize what you've seen. You'd think you're overworked, or tired. That the scenery played tricks on your eye or something. You might be shocked, at least for the moment, but you wouldn't start to become whiny as Hank did.
As a German the pronounciation of all the words could be improved immensely. I have to watch some episodes in German to see how they translate it or deal with it in general.
Can't be good, synchronization is terrible most of the time, the German voice of Rajesh ("The Indian Guy") from the Big Bang Theory is (yet?) borderline racist.
Some of the words seem to be very, very literal translations, like Glühenwolk[e]. "Glowing cloud", I assume, Glühen = Glowing, Wolke = Cloud but Glühenwolk[e] makes no sense, that's not proper German, correct would be "glühende Wolke". Glühenwolk[e] is like saying "glow cloud". They did this a couple of times with names.
There also seems to be only a single person on this show who tries to pronounce the German as correctly as possible most of the times: Monroe.
When he says more than a single word, he really tries and it shows - and pays off. He does a good job here.
Really lazy and almost bored seems David by doing so. He lacks passion in his job, he is so not trying because he doesn't care. As I said, miscast person.
There are some pet peeves that I have, aside some forgivable grammatical errors, though:
The pronounciation of Löwe or plural Löwen as it is used here. It is spelled like "lawn" just with an o as in "lown". Couldn't be more wrong. It's better to say "lowe" like "lo" and "we" as in whe[re].
Another word is Wesen, all creatures who are able to "vogue" or "woga", some word I can't identify. Wesen means creature or better: being. They say it like "Vessin".
And of course this woga thing. Still trying to figure out what they say here. There are probably more that annoy me but these three come to mind first.
You would assume they'd hire someone who speaks proper German for a show where German is such a centric part. But they apparently didn't, or took someone who had a German course in college but didn't do anything there.
That is somewhat disappointing.
Overall, this show has mixed qualities. Episodes are a complete up and down from week to week, depending on what the topic is but are usually - when good - only okayish, never really outstanding. There's no brilliance in this but it is able to entertain you, especially when Monroe and Rosalee have a good portion of appearance in the episodes.
