Eve tries out the bland diet, designed to minimise gut irritation with low-fibre and low-fat foods, while Kate is given the champagne diet and can indulge in one glass of bubbly per day, accompanied by strictly calorie-controlled meals. And life changers Jan and Alexa want to slim down for the fifth anniversary of their tea shop. Jan tries the high-protein, low-carb leptin diet, while Alexa is on the serotonin power diet, which allows comforting carbs to increase the mood-enhancing hormone serotonin. Dr Xand tries out laser lipolysis to get rid of his belly fat and investigates if gastric balloons can lead to weight loss without the risks of surgery.
