Man, when the "Previously on Lost..." starts all the way back in season one, you know this is gonna be a big catch-up episode.
Hurley: Yeah, he won't even tell us who his spy on the boat is.
Ben: It's Michael.
I love it when Ben is very unexpectedly forthcoming with the truth. "Why are you on this boat." "I'm here to die." Guess life off the Island wasn't that great for Michael. Nice digs, Mike. "It's Getting Better" by Cass Elliot as the soundtrack to Michael's suicide attempt is so darkly hilarious. Welp, that didn't work and now he's hallucinating Libby. Looks like Ben's prediction that Michael wouldn't tell anyone the truth about what happened after the crash came true; and something tells me Walt is so upset because Michael told him about murdering Ana-Lucia and Libby, and betraying Jake, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley to secure the boat. God, that had to be so surreal for Michael's mother; she thinks her son and grandson died in the crash, then both show up at her door and Michael won't tell her how they're still alive after two months of being presumed dead, and now she's taking care of a grandson she barely knew before his mother took him to Italy and Australia. He kept the watch Jin gave him on the raft, but now it's gone in favor of a more reliable suicide method. Tom's still got the Other's fighting chops. "we gave [Walt] back to you in one piece, Mike. You're the one who lost him." Damn, Tom, not very befitting your last name. "I've got some bad news for you, amigo, you can kill yourself. The Island won't let you!" Damn, the Island has that much pull to prevent suicides?
Damn, finding out the wreckage was "found" right after his first shot to the head didn't work is a strong way to prove Tom's point about the Island not being done with Michael. See, when Tom said Kate wasn't his type back in season three, when she refused to shower in front of him, he wasn't lying. "What if I told you the plane they found in that trench wasn't Oceanic 815?" Ah, Frank, you have no idea, but you just scared the shit out of Michael. "I mean, can you imagine what would happen if we found some of those people alive?" Frank, Widmore only believes you because he's the one who faked the wreckage, and he knows there are survivors still alive, which is why he's sending a boat-load of mercenaries; not only to get Ben Linus, but to kill anyone who can contradict his extremely expensive lie. Now, that is a lot of C-4. Sorry, Michael, you just entered the Island's sphere of influence, and it ain't time yet. "Not yet". Goddamn, this dude just cannot catch a suicide break.
"His name's Walt." Fucking Ben! Such a dick move. Sorry, Michael, but Sayid was the last person you'd want to tell you're working for.
Fuck, Rousseau deserved so much more than that; 16 years of outwitting the Others and living off the Island, but all it took was one shot by Martin Keamy to end her. At least she finally got to spend time with Alex after 16 years of not knowing if she was still alive. While it was smart of you to announce yourself as Ben's daughter, Alex, you're going to regret that very soon.
I hate this show so much sometimes, too many reasons to list why.
Can't believe Rouseau died! Interesting to see what happened to Michael.
I am really feel lost, I don't know who is good and who is bad anymore!
