After two episodes I love that show. It's so well written and the characters are great. Should be a show for people like myself who love good written shows like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and Somebody Somewhere.
Wow that was REALLY boring.
I agree with Dalibor - First World Problems, but I’d add to that and say white bread soggy cardboard first world non problems. I kept watching like an idiot expecting it to eventually reveal something profound, and I very nearly died of boredom. Own fault.
Although it begins as a comedy about mediocrity and midlife crisis about a teacher who takes out his frustration as a writer on his students, the series grows as it unfolds, managing to maintain a difficult balance between biting humor and drama with touches of melancholy, especially in the description of a relationship that seems stagnant. Sometimes it uses too obvious symbolism, such as the container that blocks the exit from Hank's garage, but there are particularly brilliant episodes that compose a dynamic between the characters with very successful sarcastic humor.
Anyone know where this will be available in Australia?
Should've been called "First World Problems". A story of a man with loving wife and a well paid job complaining about everything.
Watched 3 episodes and dropping it, because it is boring af.
I give this the same review as Shark Sandwich by Spinal Tap
I suppose it was too much to hope Bob would do 3 amazing shows in a row. This one is pretty weak compared to Breaking Bad and Better call Saul.
This is the perfect vehicle for Odenkirk to show off his talents. The writers struck gold with the idea for this and great casting.
I've only seen the first episode so it's possible it is all downhill from here but I will return and edit accordingly if that happens. Other wise my strongest recommendation - give it a watch.
One day, you're gonna wake up, eat your breakfast, brush your teeth, go about your business. Then, sooner or later, you're gonna realize you haven't thought about it. None of it. And that's the moment you realize you can forget.

After two episodes I can say I love it!
