Reigning champions Manchester United will aim to do the double over Everton for the third time in four years when they visit Goodison Park. Sunderland inflicted a surprise defeat on Arsenal when the sides met at the Stadium of Light in November 2009, so Arsene Wenger's team will look for revenge. Wolves fans will be nervous ahead of their match with Chelsea, given that the Blues have scored 14 goals in the teams' previous three meetings, including a 5-0 victory on their previous visit to Molineux. Tony Pulis takes his Stoke side to face his old club Portsmouth, while relegation rivals West Ham and Hull meet at Upton Park.

Former Italy team-mates Carlo Ancelotti and Roberto Mancini have faced each other other as managers in the Milan derby, and here they met for the first time as Premier League bosses, with Ancelotti's Chelsea hosting Mancini's Manchester City.

Arsenal travelled to Stoke, having lost at the Britannia Stadium both in this league fixture last season and in the FA Cup in January. Portsmouth's win over Burnley in December was their first under Avram Grant - could they do the double at Turf Moor?

Birmingham v Wigan promised plenty of goals, as the Blues won this fixture 3-2 last season and also prevailed by the same scoreline at the DW Stadium earlier in this campaign. Wolves were at Bolton in the day's other top flight game.

Arsenal host Burnley while Manchester United's are at Wolves.

Wolves lost 3-0 to United in the reverse fixture before Christmas, with manager Mick McCarthy criticised for fielding an under-strength team. With home advantage, McCarthy will plot a repeat of the shock win by Wolves when they last hosted then-league leaders United in the Premier League in 2004.

Burnley make their first visit to Arsenal in the top flight since 1975. The sides drew 1-1 at Turf Moor earlier in the season, but Burnley's away form has been as wretched as Arsenal's home form has been excellent. The Gunners are hopeful that a relatively easy run-in will keep them in the hunt for the league title, and winning fixtures like this one are essential if they are to challenge for silverware.

Arsenal also face West Midlands opposition in the shape of Birmingham. Arsene Wenger's Gunners have only lost once in their previous 16 games in this fixture and can ill-afford a slip-up as they strive for their first silverware in five years. However, their hosts have exceeded expectations in their first season back in the top flight and could prove obdurate opponents.
In the late kick-off, defending champions Manchester United are in action at neighbours Bolton, where they have only lost once in more than 30 years. Owen Coyle's Bolton need the points as desperately as United as they strive to maintain their Premier League status.

Hull host Burnley at the KC Stadium with both teams battling for their Premier League existence. Both clubs have changed managers since Burnley beat Hull 2-0 back in October, veteran Graham Alexander scoring both goals. But the Clarets' away form has been consistently poor all season, and they haven't managed a win at Hull since 1994.

Also struggling at the wrong end of the table are West Ham United, who host Sunderland. Both sides have endured difficult starts to 2010 and are in desperate need of points. A repeat of the reverse fixture would certainly be welcomed by neutrals - the teams shared four goals and each had a man sent off in an absorbing encounter.

The battle for fourth place and qualification for next season's Champions League continues with both Liverpool and Manchester City in action. Liverpool host Fulham, who shocked the Anfield club back in October with a 3-1 victory in a game that also saw the Reds reduced to nine men.

Expectations at Manchester City were high back in August, but opponents Birmingham have arguably been the season's biggest success story. Nevertheless, the Manchester club remain in the mix for a fourth-place finish, and will be confident of preserving an unbeaten home record against the Blues that dates back to 1998.

Blackburn host champions Manchester United at Ewood Park. Sir Alex Ferguson's side have won the last four meetings between the sides, and haven't lost away at their North West rivals since 2006. The day's other game sees relegation-threatened Wolves host Stoke at Molineux.

The Slovenians vowed revenge after that game for the generous award of a penalty when Wayne Rooney was adjudged to have been fouled. With qualification for either side possibly resting on this game, tensions could run high.
