Since coming to the United States from Ireland in 1990, real estate mogul Sean Conlon has worked hard to achieve the American dream. The Chicago-based developer has built up a large portfolio of properties and become a multimillionaire in the process. Now he's using his wealth and experience to help others in need. Conlon comes to the aid of struggling property investors whose projects are failing, putting them on the verge of financial ruin. He infuses each project with his own cash, but that lifeline isn't free as he gets a piece of the property and a percentage of the profits in return. With a deal reached, Conlon does whatever is needed to get the property out of the red, even if doing so requires getting rid of the existing contractors and doing the work himself. He falls back on all of his experience to get the properties, which range from single-family homes to multiunit developments, back on track and headed toward the finish line.

Caren and her husband Nic have a good track record as home flippers but their first attempt at building a house from the ground up is causing them serious problems. The couple have only just started construction on the elaborately designed, luxury four-bedroom house but Sean is shocked to learn that it's already $100,000 over budget. And Caren, an award winning interior designer seems reluctant to compromise on any of her big ideas or her costly finishes. Sean sets out to get the project back on track but teaching Caren to build for profit not just for prestige, proves a real challenge.

Marcello, an ambitious young developer with a checkered past is racing to make a fortune in Chicago Real Estate. His latest project, an abandoned, one hundred year-old Graystone is under the threat of demolition. He desperately needs an injection of cash and expertise to help save it. Sean thinks the house has enormous potential and there's a big profit to be made from flipping it. However, he soon discovers that this beast of a renovation may be the least of the challenges he must contend with. Marcello has thirteen other ongoing renovations. If Sean can't get him to focus and change his business strategy, their partnership and the house could both be in peril.
