On the one hand, the kind of locked-room mysteries that takes up the bulk of Undead Murder Farce is pretty much the opposite of my cup of tea. On the other, I love pretty much everything else about the show – which makes for a highly ambivalent viewing experience. I have to admit, though, the way this arc (and season) is heading towards a conclusion where it seems like the protagonists have focused their energies on finding the ultimately pointless solution to their mystery, while tiptoeing their way through (and sometimes contributing to) the senseless slaughter happening in, on and around their various crime scenes... it's pretty heady stuff. To be fair, that was what the denouement of the previous vampire mystery arc pointed towards as well, but the collateral damage here at the end of the season is orders of magnitude more severe, so the notion hits a bit harder.
