Alison Pill is terrifying in this.
This is the ultimate video game-like film with some of the most brutally intense, high octane fights I’ve ever seen since Ong Bak. The cinematography and choreography are superb, capturing every movement with grace. The music was nice, perhaps, not suitable for most scenes. I did enjoy the synth-type pieces, which went with the video game aesthetic/vibe. The Krav Maga/Capoeira/Judo was truly spectacular. It is on an higher level than Ong Bak/John Wick! The acting was equally impressive by all. I quite enjoyed the after credits scene. This was a special film. I look forward to the creator’s/writers future endeavors.
Nice acting, dramatic and funny scenes. Great overall message.
The Cranberry Scene is Incredible.
From the thumbnail, they actually appeared to of nailed the original Elphaba’s look. She was slender and similar in face structure, at least from my childhood memory.
Powerful scenes. Roulette gave me chills. Reminded me of Two Face and The Dark Knight’s Joker!
I was apprehensive on watching the new season, which is why I waited until now. This episode relieved my concerns on the new cast. Harsher themes and more serious than the previous seasons. The acting already is off to a good start and I feel more invested in the characters than episode one.
As with seasons one and two, the storybook actors, actresses and va for the cg characters, always knocks it out the park. Very enjoyable.
The final scene and line gave me chills. Nice to see the two actors again after their film.
Li Jun Li! I was very pleased to see her from my past most favorite spiritual show. (Exorcist) That was an smazing series and pretty truthful in aspects. I was disappointed when it was canceled.
Finally received a breakthrough revelation. Very moving ending.
Nice to see reverse Zechariah from Supernatural. The children's storyline and slightly Ben's are the more interesting bits.
Too bad it was canceled. This show reminds me of Lizzie Mcguire and a little of The Wonder Years. It has lots of heart. Cheers for Paula!
Nice pacing, acting and themes.
This is my second favorite episode. Go Arthur!
I really enjoyed this one. The best episode yet!
The ending scene was quite poetic.
The acting and violence has some improvement.
Bella’s finest performance on TLOU!! This episode was the closest adaptation of this segment in the game.
Wunderbar!! Another incredible, well acted, scripted and directed episode.
That was a great ending scene.
It’s still working my way through the first episode. After having some worries on some characters, I can safely say, Nico Parker knocked it out the park! Definitely had tears. Great mood, expressions and heart. This is my first time witnessing Gabriel Luna’s acting and instantly became a fan. Pedro and Gabriel nailed the voices and characters.
Aw. Not James!! I hope he isn’t compromised!
A truly wacky, fun and creative episode.
I’m getting Moses vibes from the Serpent’s Exodus. I love all of the parallels and bible moments/lines/allegories in this show!
What a powerful ending to EP 20s prelude to chaos. Strong acting, fitting music, intensity, violence, chaos (a real judgement/apocalypse type event) and highly emotional (cried a bit at FP carrying Juggy). Loved Cheryl Everdeen of Riverwood. (Instead of Shirwood).
My suspicion of the Dad turned out true. Sadly children are taught and grow up that way in often and are damaged as a result. I’m amazed that I still have many more episodes to watch. The past two episodes easily tops the entirety of Season 1!
A little more spooky/atmospheric than Season 1. Very enjoyable. Nice sound design as well
Wow. I didn’t see the ending reveal coming! His father!!
Nice work. This episode is the best one so far. Nice setup/tension/imagery. 4-3-1-2.
I actually thought the VR experience could be a potential Segway into various forms of acknowledgement. The guests even asked for more info after experiencing it. It probably needed a longer runtime.
This was a wild episode. Semi schizo/bipolar Zoe. Poor Chelsea again. (Zoe shooting her with the arrow.) Indigo is still intriguing. She was the first accuser. Very Teen Titans-like.
