Just back from a secret screening of this and it had no business being so good.
Better and more fun than most of the recent Marvel movies!
It's an objectively well made and well acted movie that I really enjoyed. The plot is well structured, fast paced, and dialog well written.
It has the moral imperative to end sex trafficking but it's not through heavy handed guilt tripping, but through telling a true story about a man who made personal sacrifices to do the right thing and courageously go into danger to be a genuine hero. I think anyone who has any sense of altruism will leave this movie inspired to take action against this truly heinous evil that is real and happening now. Go see this movie.
This story is not over. The screenplay of this movie was based off a biased book named the anti social network written by a corrupt wallstreet author. If you want to learn more about the actual events go watch all DFV's congressional testimony the dates he doubled and quadrupled down after his congressional testimony in February and April. You can find his final posts on reddit and also Visit DRSGME dot org to learn why the direct registration system is important. Market Makers abuse stocks the same way fractional reserve banks and the federal reserve abuse the money supply. There is no true free market and price discovery if theres not a fixed supply.
Theres a whole library of due diligence to comb through on Superstonk. DFV is still holding to this day he went silent because they sued his employers for 4 million summer of 2021 after he doubled and quadrupled down on the stock after the Congressional hearing.
The Squeeze has not Squoze.
John Woo butchered his magnum opus.
I’ve been dodgin’ fuckin’ bullets since I was fourteen. No one can kill me. I’m blessed. I’m a fuckin’ Catholic
The first half was really good. The last half was great.
At times a totally retarded B-movie. Totally unrealistic, absurd and chaotic story. Obvious plot. Still.... entertaining.
+1 for Statham.
7 out 10.
Everything about this movie screams a sort of open job application for Statham to become the next Bond.
something that has to be experienced at least once
On the surface, a routine monster movie, but actually so much more than that. A genuinely witty script and fun performances from Brendan Gleeson, Oliver Platt and Betty White and you have a terrific comedy. That just happens to have a giant man-eating crocodile in it.
Slightly better than some of Sandler's recent efforts, but still barely passes muster as a comedy. My advice: watch Father of the Bride again instead.
I have a question. Why does everyone who dies throw their weapon forward? It seemed strange to me. The movie is bad, the acting is mediocre. Personally, I didn't like it. They make a movie and put in so much effort or seem to put in so much effort, and this is the end result. Don't watch it, it's really a waste of time.
Clayne Crawford is really underrated. He's good. Always love to see any movies of his.
Damn good movie.
'Nuff said.
Probably the lamest “comedian” to grace a stage. Relies on unfunny punches, with a ton of vulgarity.
Good action movie, with bullet's flying everywhere. Well worth a watch :thumbsup_tone1:
Enjoyed this 90s style actioner that borrows heavily from its higher tier counterparts. Crawford and Martini were solid. There's some rough dialogue choices in the writing, but overall it punches a little above its weight. Enjoyable 6.4.
So she stays living with a bunch of rocks, cool :joy:
