I seriously question the rationale behind the ability to be able to vote on an not yet aired shows. Where do people up-voting or down-voting these shows get their decisions from? It's flawed!!

@blackrider If you get in a pilot test, you usually see it months in advance.
It's okay but there are so many mistakes in the storyline, so much stuff that does not make sense at all that it sometimes hurts to watch. The cinematography is on a really high level - indeed. However, the inconsequence this storyline was written with is disturbing and makes this whole thing a bit of a painful experience. I quite skipped trough it to at least get an overview where this is going.
Maybe they should have done a deep dive how cultures would really develop under these given circumstances. I find it hard to believe that all those people do not know absolutely anything just because there was a virus. And given the fact, that there is no further explanation I bet Apple itself does not have an explanation how this scenario makes any sense.
The only reason I can see why people would give this series a good rating is because of the cinematography, the cast and because it was done by Apple. Because besides those superficial reasons, there is nothing really that justifies a good rating.

It’s unfortunate that you being unable to pay attention, comprehend, or even have the patience to watch the show and understand the premise is causing you to trash the show. But apparently stupidity is contagious considering all the people agreeing with you. The show said right at the beginning that several centuries have passed since humans lost their vision to a virus that introduced blindness as a dominant gene into the gene pool. This, paired with centuries of decline, is more than believable for our society that was so reliant on sight to collapse and revert to this primitive state.
Why? Just watch the original version, 100% this won't go more than a season

@ajrobson It will survive, it's the #1 new comedy this season and #2 behind YOUNG SHELDON. You wouldn't get these adaptations if middle America didn't think British accents were foreign languages.

Just saw it on IMAX. The first two episodes were impressive to the point I forgot it was a TV Show and not a movie.
Great development to start with and I'm loving Bolt, no words said but his facial expressions are great. Can't wait to see this show swing into full season. And I already hate the bad guy Maximus.

This show tries way too hard to be funny. The laugh track is almost as annoying as the tired dialogue. We get it writers, millennials are supposedly out of touch with people 20 years older than them. Shocker! This is what happens with every generation.
At this point, I'm only "watching" because I've finished an episode of TBBT and I'm waiting on "Mom" to air. My theory is the only reason why CBS picked this show up for a full season is because they have no mid-season replacements better than this which is quite frankly the saddest news of all.

The Sayid-Shannon "romance" is still stupid nonsense. It's ok to admit you guys just want some action while stranded on the Island - you don't have to be star-crossed lovers or anything. Thank god it didn't get dragged out, though. Shannon is easily the worst character.
Boone's mom has it rough - losing her husband, son, and stepdaughter in a span of 2 years. That's some shit luck, huh.

World Premiere Review:
It was ok. It's not entirely interesting and it's the standard Marvel formula. However, it's lacking a critical element of a Marvel hero: a flaw. The best thing about the MCU is that there isn't a Superman equivalent...but there is now and I'm not sure I like it. I'm afraid now that Endgame concludes with believing in yourself can defeat Thanos...

@bejot I feel like they missed a great opportunity to end Leia's story before the ridiculous force thing happens. Although, actually killing her in her final film might have been in poor taste. Chewie isn't going to die anytime soon. They just put another giant sized man in the wookie costume and they're good to go. Besides that Leia scene though, what else was awful exactly?

Nope! Renewed for season 3 last week.
Whaaaa Nigeria make billions of dollars from oil but spend zero on infrastructure to provide their people with clean water, but big bad Nestle come in and provide clean water and have the balls to actually charge people for the water - after they've invested billion on the water plant. Oh, and they give the locals free water but being the bad guy the people have to walk twice as far to the free clean water versus the filthy river. Bad bad big business. One clown said people are stupid buying bottled water in the U.S. because the municipality provides clean healthy water - like Flint Michigan and numerous other cities. This is one of the most one-sided, NBC/CBS/ABC type documentaries I've ever seen. 0/10

@speeddemon lol, its not a zero sum game with these issues. Nestle can be an ethically terrible company, the Nigerian state can fail its people, and the municipality of Flint can fail its people. I don't understand corporate cheerleading because some other entity did a bad thing too...
The people complaining about Vanya transitioning to Viktor should probably just stop watching and spare the rest of us. It doesn't take away from the story, the show's literal creator embraced it, why can't that be good enough?

The show’s creator, sure. But not the source material creator? Unpopular opinion, I dont really care for the merging of art and performer without it feeling truly natural, this feels like an invasion of our world into this world of The Umbrella Academy. It’s a discussion worth having without labelling the detractors as transphobic unless it’s clear they clearly have ill will against trans persons in general…
Too bad already talking about canceling this show. Ratings are really low. Too bad I like Sophia Bush but Chicago pd doing great in ratings.

The action sequences were solid, particularly the martial arts, and the casting and acting were also fine but the script is a mess, the pacing is off, and the second half feels goofy and disjointed from the first half. The second half action was difficult to follow and felt like a DC cluster f--- aimed at the Chinese market. HOWEVER, I am looking forward to seeing Shang-Chi utilized in the future films.

i have only watched 1 episode. this feels like it was written during the writers strike and animated during the animation strike. really bland, insanely fast to comprehend, and somehow also a slog to go through. the funniest bits are the cheating husband plank and the unintentional hilarity of petey saying “its my woman boss” as she gets fired. this is a bad show.

This is how DC's Movies should have been made. It's action sequences are insanely awesome. Amber Heard is drop dead gorgeous like a goddess in this movie. Jason Momoa is born to play Aquaman. Perfect castings. Don't miss this amazing movie guys.
