/r/Boomerhumour got their own TV show
This is just the panderverse for conservatives. It tries so hard to push as many messages as possible that it forgets to be funny, creative or interesting.
I know what you did last Thanksgiving
A gory version of "Is it Cake?"
How they massacred my boy...
Not the worst movie of 2002, Roger.
If you need 7+ hours and an abused cat to tell this asinine story than you are not a very good storyteller/filmmaker. What a waste of time.
Why does it have to be so bad? So much potential (as always with these movies), but the end result is just the same predictable, infantile crap.
I feel kind of guilty for giving it only 6, but I didn't like it as much as I hoped to. It is a good movie, it got good acting and nice love story, but it felt more like a sad fairy tail than a true life story. I wouldn't watch it again but if you haven't seen it, go ahead and do it.
Let me tell you a story. It is a love story actually. There were two lovers: Apple and Twitter, and they loved each other so much that they made a movie for everyone to see how great they are. And how well they fit together...
No, but seriously, this 100 minute twitter advertisement is just terrible. This is a movie about a talented chef, who is a real a*hole as a father. He gets upset about a review written about him. Also, his (another a*hole) boss (you can't get a decent ad without hiring a big star like Dustin Hoffman) that doesn't let him be artistic with the food. So he goes indie and starts his own "food truck".
There are some good lines here and there but nothing special with the script. Overall, the acting, the writing and the directing are very generic.
I really hate being like the critic in the movie, but this movie was done to promote stuff and make you feel good about it, it wasn't art or even a decent flick. I stopped watching it after 50 minutes. If you can watch something else, better do it.
This is my humble opinion, sorry if there were mistakes, English isn't my primary language.
Truly don't know what everybody find in this movie. Sometimes it feels that Tarantino can do anything he wants and people will praise it, no matter how really bad it is. The movie has some great action sequences, great actors and interesting characters, but the dialog is long and boring, and there is really nothing new, just same old Tarantino doing the same thing over and over again just with a little bit different story...
In my humble opinion this is a very underrated movie. I really enjoyed it, but maybe because I knew what I was getting into.
The movie is slow and atmospheric but in a really good way. It's like a trip, sometimes like meditation and sometimes like a nightmare.
I would definitely recommend the movie, if you know that this is not an historic action flick.
