Preeeeetty messy endings on lots of ends... I guess there will be a second season since 1) Porsche and Porchay's mom looks shook af, and 2) Kim and Chay's relationship is still a question mark.
Even though both Vegas's and Pete's actor were awesome, and I liked seeing them together, their relationship is hella toxic. I was hoping that they wouldn't romanticize this kind of behaviour and attachment, but oh well...
The lines "But I still can't figure out where to shoot first: the head, chest, or the heart. (cue pointing gun at Porsche)" and "I'm not on the major family's side. I'm not on the minor family's side. I'm on your side." have got to be my favorite lines from the entire show.
Honestly this series has been thoroughly entertaining and this is coming from me who predicted that I was gonna drop it halfway through. But I didn't, and I'm here until the end, and I don't regret dedicating a huge chunk of my weekend to it.
This episode showed many events :
First of all, what's happening with Dr. Mr. Handsome?? Is he a psycho??
I feel so bad about that little girl. She doesn't know anything and I think she's gonna suffer because of her bitch Mother...
The tension is sky-high b/w both fathers in the last scene...
I'm really excited about upcoming episodes...
"I'm Already Ruined"
Sadly it's true. Moon-Dong is so broken that she can't be fixed or more like it will get in the way of her revenge if she tried to get happy...
"I have to stay faithful to my rage and fury"
She has to get her revenge to feel peace. Only after getting her revenge, she can see her future....
I really want to kill that teacher....and I don't fucking remember who is who as adult....I really want our Queen to have a happy ending
Incredibly hard to watch, at least if you have a past in any way similar to hers.
I didn’t even need to reach the end of this episode to be fully committed to her destroying them all.
This episode just broke me...
"Children don't grow up alone."
It's the biggest responsability to teach children what's right and what's wrong and love is the biggest part.
Letting naive boys get all worked up and do a job it needs cold blood for has been the downfall of so many. Please don’t do it. Just please don’t.
This one was the best season I must say... Intense, thrilling and suspenseful, and this final episode was excellent, great in every way since the beginning to the end, and Tom Hardy really stole the show in this one and the previous in his scenes.
Favorite episode so far.
Pretty good episode. The beginning and the end gave me a strong impression
Truly unbelievable story. I hate to imagine a judge in a court of law act so biased and not allow the defense to defend their case. The fact that these brothers haven't seen each other in over 20 years is a sad travesty. Great show. Highly recommend
Whatever happened to leaving behind the past with Tommy? Didn't think the bride would be Grace.
10/10 just because they killed that disgusting copper and for Thomas surviving
Campbell actually has a threatening aura now with the cane and the creaking sound of his leg, but it was Polly and the Italians who set the tone and the stakes to a much higher and interesting place than it was in the entirety of season 1.
The introduction of one of the greatest TV series characters of all time: Alfie Solomons!
He pulled out a bed roll out of nowhere and went to sleep Lol Y'all sure he doesn't use magic? :joy:
The thing about taking the corpse out of the coffin...
And the magic of space, I loved it...
Make him a key....
The muffin thing seemed too much, even for Mash...
And falling asleep in the middle of a fight LOL.....
Tremendous spells...
Ended in a great moment....
Seeing Wahlberg's childhood, and how his teacher supported him....
Well to look forward to....
Best episode so far, I much prefer the cute side than the mafia side of it, plus Porsche throwing a wood penis at Kinn was just sensational. Kim and Porchay's interactions are still awkward though
That last scene elevated this entire episode for me sawry I'm easy to please like that (seriously though it was beautifully shot, and the emotional beats were perfect idk what else to say)
I really like the dynamic and differences between the two characters. One is focusing on having the best time of their life while the other is so preoccupied on surviving their life (very similar to working a job and not doing fun stuff). I really love the themes here and the characters so far are awesome.
8/10
Save, there is only one possible way for a happy ending if Takamichi becomes the leader of Toman. Mikey is a fighting god but not stable enough to lead.
Wow that really was the worst timeline!
What? That doesn't even make any sense, how and why would he come to the conclusion that its all Mikeys fault? Unless he is bat shit insane...
I take back my comment on the last episode, the MC is now a man that deserves to walk among the Toman leaders and gang members cause he beat the guy that he hated the most.
