Just finished my third rewatch of the show, and it's just so good, one of my favorites that I always forget to list, but it's so great. Unlike other shows where I don't have as strong feelings for side characters or anything like that, every person in Galavant is amazing and a joy to watch, such a great two seasons.
I watched it on the day it came out, but never wrote a review. Now, it is time, and I have to say, it is no joke in the top 5 for my favorite marvel movies. It is such a fantastic adventure with lots of feels, but still really good comedy throughout. Just a great movie, James Gunn really knows how to make them, and he will be missed. I loved how they set up characters at the end moving forward as well, they just need to sign on for more movies because I love them so much, they are my favorite marvel group, so I need more from them :D
It was for sure an enjoyable movie, and I liked a lot of parts in it, but for me, the plot overall was rather rushed and Kevin Fiege mentioned it many times, but you have to watch Wandavision. Loved the cameos and everything, and it was a fun movie, even though sometimes the plot was rather thin, it was a great movie for this phase. So, Phase 4 for me movie wise is 3/4 for good movies.
The overall series was pretty good, but the ending was rather unsatisfying to watch, and the show altogether was rather complicated and made everything connected, with a lot of loose ends, but it was still a fun thing to watch to pass the time.
I honestly think the U.S. version is better than the U.K version. It has better comedic timing, likable characters, and overall I like the chemistry a lot more between this cast overall then the other series, everyone feels more friendly and has great interactions, especially between the main couple, so I think it's great. (I also love Rose McIver, so that's a nice touch!)
I love the movie so much, it was perfect and my favorite movie of 2021 so far. I've watched it like five times already, and I'll probably watch it some more :D
