It's a sad indictment on modern Australia that Peter Norman is not recognised as a national hero. He is without doubt one of the most courageous and decent athletes ever to represent our country. Norman's words to Smith and Carlos: “I will stand with you” are surely one of the highest points of Australian sporting history.
The six part documentary series is soul crushing to watch. Each episode is more harrowing than it's predecessor. The word "justice" should be removed from the phrase "criminal justice system". Robin Steinberg: "I think it begs the question of whether the system is actually broken? Or whether the system that we've actually created is doing precisely what we intended it to do". RIP Kalief Browder.
Do not resist: “If you’re standing still, you may be subject to arrest”. Short but compelling documentary on the militarization of the police in the the US.

Harrowing documentary. Painful to watch.
