The reason why it's a new series is pretty simple. When this season fails they can start Doctor Who 2005 back up and pretend this season never happened.
Makes no sense why they insist on rebranding this as a new show. Just making it even more confusing for new watchers.
EDIT: After the first few episodes - not really on board yet with the writing and stories so far. BUT Ncuti and Millie are absolutely fabulous and amazing.
WOW! This was such a good episode, felt like 2008 prime Who! Incredible story and performances all round! Bravo!
Hey man awesome list i've been referring to it for years. Thanks for being such a great example on how to make my own lists. Keep up the good work!
Off topic but we live 25 mins apart I live in Lachute. Je sais pas si tu parle français mais c'est cool de voir des québécois sur le site
this is a great list - thank you for your contribution
I went for the laughs and left the movie theater with an existential crisis. I loved it <3
if you got a choice between carrying my giant dead ass or being filthy rich.. please..by all means..take the fucking money bro
Powerful, moving and precise, this documentary is a must view.
This was a bit insufferable because of how unlikable the characters are.
I loved it. And it's a show I can watch with my kid, that loves Ms.Marvel.
So far the pattern is that AC-12 gets the wrong person then they figure out they got the wrong person while the whole time they let Cotton walk around as he’s a saint. This is not great writing. Given all the high ratings on this show, I hope the story gets better.
This just about brought a tear to my eye. Never before seen footage watching everything unfold right before your eyes.
while i try to stay away from israel-related political shows to avoid any sort of bias, the psychological take that his identity is becoming blurred with the fake identity is very exciting. and I know Sacha Baron Cohen is a great actor, so it deserves a chance.
I thought this was just another lesbian light-drama, with some cute shit, a little crying and a happy ending... Jesus! I was so completely wrong and now I'm WRECKED!
This film is on a whole new level of pain, angst and cruelty. Congratulations to Mélanie Laurent. She really fucking did it!
#NotMyRodrick We need the old Rodrick back
A short, well structured cartoon that respectfully deals with topics rarely seen in children's media. Tulip is a refreshingly unique main character and the mystery surrounding the train kept me watching to the end. Can't wait for the next season!
EDIT: Each and every season the show keeps getting better! The last episode of Season 3 had the DARKEST scene I've ever witnessed in a show with a PG rating. My only criticism is that the humor isn't great, but this definitely isn't a comedy anyway. Still highly recommend for any age as the topics it covers are universally relatable.
While I appreciate the cinematography, and the imagery can be impressive, and the score, the movie(?) seems to be abstract solely to be abstract. It never seems to have a point, or produce a real plot.
Overrated. Nothing was thrilling to watch. Even scenes that should have been suspenseful or exciting had no impact. The dad dies. Who cares? The relationship seemed empty. There should have been a gold mine of interesting ideas there. None. Holly had a voice over where she is poetic, yet in the movie the most poetic she gets its saying 'I found a dead chicken this morning.' Total mismatch. The voice over was contrived to try and give some meaning. Maybe the person who made the movie concluded how empty it was, and this was his solution to inject some life? The characters weren't fleshed out enough to make us understand their actions or care. It seemed the story telling didn't have the viewer in mind. It looks nice though.
Well... Considering I've read the books and really enjoyed the first ones I have to say that I am pretty darn disappointed. Found the movie rather plain and the actors just didn't make me care.
...and since I know there are plenty of books to come it was very obvious that this probably isn't the last Vampire Academy film. It should be, though.
A woman was actually raped during the shooting of this movie, in a sort of ~artistic plot~ between the director and the actor who did it. It went public, you can even see interviews about it. I don't give a rats ass about your art, they should have been in jail for that. Also, none of the involved deserve to be prestiged so yeah, all that hype about Bertolucci does not stick with me.
This is a really fantastic film, so glad I watched it. In my top 5 of all time.
I love the weird and quirky. This show has the quirk and a most excellent sound track. I'm loving this show! Bring on season 2.
Well... this was a huge surprise. I only decided to watch it 'cause Robert Sheehan is in the cast and I'll watch anything with him in it. Turns out that this might be my new favorite show of all time. I'm not sure if I can explain exactly why, but it just clicked with me. From the first episode on, I felt a connection with the characters and the story and I loved everything about it. I even restricted myself to watching 1 episode a day, just so that I could enjoy it longer. I know it sounds crazy, but it sounded legit in my head.
Can't wait for season 2. In the meantime, I'll definitely read the comic-books and re-watch season 1 a couple of times.
See this movie! It's clever. It has the unexpected. It's funny (but it is a dry, clever wit, and although I was sitting there chuckling away, a lot of the audience were missing a lot of the quick witted humour). The women gave excellent performances. The plot had a B line that isn't revealed until later, so pay attention. I give this film an 8 (appropriately so, and great) out of 10. [Heist film]
this was so bloody good i think i ascended onto a higher plane
