The reason why it's a new series is pretty simple. When this season fails they can start Doctor Who 2005 back up and pretend this season never happened.
this show is hilarious, silly and makes me laugh every episode
A short, well structured cartoon that respectfully deals with topics rarely seen in children's media. Tulip is a refreshingly unique main character and the mystery surrounding the train kept me watching to the end. Can't wait for the next season!
EDIT: Each and every season the show keeps getting better! The last episode of Season 3 had the DARKEST scene I've ever witnessed in a show with a PG rating. My only criticism is that the humor isn't great, but this definitely isn't a comedy anyway. Still highly recommend for any age as the topics it covers are universally relatable.
This show is fantastic. I for one didn't expect so much clever and self-referential humor from a Disney show like this. I'm sure this is a great show for kids, but this is by far one of the best cartoons to watch as an adult. Not many shows make me laugh out loud like this does.
while i try to stay away from israel-related political shows to avoid any sort of bias, the psychological take that his identity is becoming blurred with the fake identity is very exciting. and I know Sacha Baron Cohen is a great actor, so it deserves a chance.
love this cartoon! it's bad ass!! it's for the whole family too. i grew up on 80's toonz & find it hard to enjoy anything they call "cartoons" these days but this is awesome.
Makes no sense why they insist on rebranding this as a new show. Just making it even more confusing for new watchers.
EDIT: After the first few episodes - not really on board yet with the writing and stories so far. BUT Ncuti and Millie are absolutely fabulous and amazing.
So good! It captures the essence of the books perfectly. And Sunny is amazing, couldn't get enough of her!
The first half, or maybe even the first two thirds, was very strong: The characters were likeable and I loved the fluff, angst, and new twist to PP. But the final half/third was more or less disappointing and dull.
Characters I used to love became predictable and annoying, and though it might also be related to the fandom -which, even more than the show itself, has one awesome half and another one that is.. not awesome- I feel like the writers tried a little too hard (or not enough) to make the ending work.
There are obviously a hundred amazing things about TLBD, but the final episodes did leave a bitter aftertaste in my mouth.
Totally agree! I love it, it's one of my my favourite cartoon, ever!
I loved it. And it's a show I can watch with my kid, that loves Ms.Marvel.
