What is she wearing!!! At34 minutes.
I couldn't wait for this to be over.
The two leads have very little chemistry.
Loved the actress who plays Lucy Smith with sincerity, in this sea of bad drama acting. I couldn't wait for you know who to die.
The more I watch the show, the less I care about these characters. I miss McCarthyism and Roy Cohn all of a sudden.
This is so boring and I'm 15 minutes in
The story could have been told in a good 2 hour movie. Plenty of filler scenes, gratuitous and, sadly, boring sex scenes, and melodrama.
Best performance goes to Roy Cohn actor in a sea of conventionally attractive and uninspiring characters.
I'd heard good things but I don't usually go for long movies. It was gripping from beginning to end and beautifully made. Loved the cast.
The Young Butcher's Notebook
Every single character is awful and annoying. Maybe it's an LA thing.
Entertaining, good jump in your seat moments, annoying people, totally predictible.
Not the kind of movie I usually watch so this was just fine, switch off your brain and hang on to your seat. A solid... 4?
This is so bad in many ways.
On the plus side, the deaths are imaginative and the killers are always quite unpredictable so fair play for throwing us on the wrong scent.
Unfurtunately, the detectives are insufferable and overall production lacklustre.
Quel navet !
What a turkey!
My limit is one Efira per movie at most. More blandness is impossible to bear.
Double botox, zero emotions unless you count blank stares sideways and straight ahead.
An abundance of silly plot twists and turns, is this a thriller that's not very thrilling or a comedy that's not very funny?
All characters are mostly insufferable. Kendrick is just right for the part. Lively's character may be awful or is it badly acted? Actors' direction must have been confusing because none of them seem to agree whether they're acting in a parody or the real thing.
Lingering questions...How can Stephanie fit tightly in the dress of the much taller/larger Emily? How do they become best friends after drinking together once? How very panto is the husband's acting? How quickly do they all fall in and out of love?
What a mess!!
I couldn't watch the whole thing, it was too tedious and boring.
An (unqualified) nymphomaniac joins a (newly sober) sex addict's couples counselling practice and it quickly gets boring. Marceau is charming and fresh, Bruel unconvincing and the meagre plot goes nowhere interesting.
Good premises but soon you realise it's not so much satire as endorsement of mediocrity. Be mediocre as long as the majority around you are dumber than you, life is good.
Sad state of the United States.
A companion episode to My Sexual Abuse: The Sitcom (The Actual Sitcom). Well worth watching together. The actual sitcom shows the tragedy of sexual abuse of a 12 year by a family member and coping mechanism that ensue, while this, the documentary, captures the lifelong effect on Mark O'Sullivan.
Incredible story. It's awful to think people like him exist.
A fun and enjoyable comedy short. I recommend it. Available on Kanopy.com as part of " Fun in Boys Shorts "
As gripping as Season 1. Durst is so blatantly guilty each and every time but manages to get away with... well , murder. Despicable human being and his amoral friends.
Hahaha. This is so ridiculous. Anyone can walk into any part of the police station.
If like me you like crime stories that are somewhat believable, aren't far fetched, with good acting... then you'll want to stay away from this pantomime.
I love true crime which makes watching most crime fiction difficult to take seriously and this takes the cake.
Apparently the portrayal of autism is well received so that's a positive... But even that is grating. Yet another crime expert with a crippling condition but magic powers.
This week's episode is Da Vinci code. Total nonsense to me. Yet again someone gets a job to get close to their target and waits patiently.
Am I watching a episode of Scooby-Doo?
Gripping and unpredictable. A very good movie.
Season 1 was like a soap with drama in it and story lines you could get into.
Season 2 is more vaudeville in tone, sets, acting, and storylines with plot holes. It gets bad from ep3.
"My pussy's in the cloud!"
A movie about the mad times we are living in. Entertaining, funny, touching and there's hope for all of us.
Oh no, they hate each other! This romance is doomed.
The only redeeming feature of this movie is... Oh no, wait, there's no redeeming feature.
Even the obligatory nudity is completely unsexy and uninteresting. She looks up his bumhole... Genius comedy writing.
Completely missed when this was released and I'm so glad I got to see it. The two main characters are extraordinary and so beautifully brought to life by the cast in all their madness, eccentricity and theatricality. For a short moment, the movie gives a glimpse into the source of inspiration for his paintings.
I was looking forward to seeing the legendary Amanda Lear too but oh my what a car crash that interpretation was. Hated that. And if it matters, Amanda is a cis womam passing herself of as trans for publicity, played (awfully) by a trans actress who confusingly drops her voice and speaks in a very odd accent, exuding zero charisma . Painful to watch.
Quite the cast! Lovely to see these French cinema legends, Marie Pierre Casey, Marthe Villalonga, Mylene Demongeot...
Sadly this is a mediocre, predictable movie, with a few problematic aspects. Some shitty homophobic stereotypes meant to be a joke are representative of how poorly written this is.
It's a comedy not because it's funny but because the situations are unlikely.
Not a dull moment, fast paced, funny, suspenseful. Highly recommended.
