I didnt understand the very last shot. Was it me or was it just a draft cgi shot? And the rest of the other train was missing? What am i missing here

@operator The season ends as it started. With that weird effect.
The movie did a much better job to make you root for the tailies.
Also for whatever reason I can't bring myself to like Layton as the main character.
I'm team Melanie all the way.loading replies
@-puma- I think that is the point.
You are not supposed to root for someone, you are supposed to be torn.
(Took me a while to continue watching, since there is some pretty heavy stuff in here)
I am with Melanie as well - the only people I absolutely can't root for are the power hungry 1st-classers
Didn't, just a few episodes back, the main Medic guy himself go on a rant about how hard it was to bring people back from the Drawers, yet here's some Tailie who's not seen a real piece of technology in 7 years, and yet she's expertly injecting Layton with some random medication she grabbed from a drawer just seconds before ... god this is getting over the top ridiculous.

@alexnader pretty sure it was adrenaline and people in medical adjacent fields (like vets as she is) would know that.
It was nice to go back to the past. Double nose, single eye is very strange. Does this mean that each shelter adopts a different purpose? The cowboy was starting to behave very correctly. The twelfth floor thing is crazy. Pears often fall to the bottom. How can a person change so much for a bathrobe and slippers? :joy:

@enes_ Never played any Fallout games? Basically each Vault is some weird fucked up science experiment.
5:20 Dr. Wilzig and his dog evade automatic machine gun fire unscathed because it's convenient for the plot. The Enclave has perfected cold fusion but their turrets have shitty targeting systems? Come on...
loading replies
@leonfeng Some of the most belligerent gunfire misses I can remember seeing. It's hard to think they did that without meaning for it to be ridiculous. It really dissipates the tension because it takes you out of the show and makes you aware of the writing and film making choices... there are a million better ways to write it where you could legitimately just think "They do miss sometimes".
I was waiting for Sam Jackson to pop up and start reciting a bible verses.
Fuck bitch ass Michael rapaport! What a horrible casting

Fuck bitch ass Michael rapaport! What a horrible casting
I dunno, strangely fits:
* doesn't care about anyone,
* doesn't want to protect anyone,
* is an anti-knight.
"Where's the fucking apartheed?"
Started great, not so much by the end... too many disconnected and unexplained things, while not being interesting enough at the same time

It's episode one bud. They're not gonna hand you everything on a platter.
Nope, this one lost me. Just out of the blue un-Fargo-like happenings. Maybe they will be explained in coming eps, but they really should have been dealt with in this one.
loading replies
@kanootcha un-fargo-like? Lol this is the most Fargo-like episode ever
They arrive at the "space hotel" with a very visible curve in the hallway. Then when they need to host a wedding the ground is flat. Yikes.
loading replies
Actually, this makes perfect sense. The hallway is designed for continuous movement of passengers.
The cabins would be attached parallel to the ring and one could enter through a door on the same floor level as the ring hallway. Behind that for each cabin is a box with flat surfaces.
Passengers would feel a light Coriolis effect in the corners, but that seems feasible.
Why do they think the audience is going to cheer for a cheating man getting back together with his ex-wife?
loading replies
@amberrav Because the audience is also human.
Why do they think the audience is going to cheer for a cheating man getting back together with his ex-wife?
loading replies
Because she ain’t no better than him and people make mistakes. If they find each other’s true love again, the audience will like it.
What a stupid episode. All the astronauts on the moon are just leisurely watching the sunrise? What the hell is this? A field trip? Meanwhile the Dutch guy gets stuck under his rover getting burned to a crisp and Molly decides to doom herself as well to go out and save him. A ton of new astronauts join the show and there's absolutely no insight into who they are and what are their backstory. They just tried to move the show forward too fast, there's a huge gap from the first season and it's feeling way rushed. Hope this improves over the next few episodes because season 1 was a true gem.
loading replies
@ergydion Nonsense. They were at no risk, and astronauts are allowed downtime to explore and experience wonder too. Why not? There was one astronaut left alone in the station for months last season.
This didn't end like I expected.

@onlime Same, I was actually hoping for the opposite...
Oh the wokeness ... SJW's must love it

@eon4dk Can't you handle stepping outside your safe space?
And suddenly this show is about girls getting it done, huh? That’s one way to screw up an interesting premise.

What was the point of using a hologram to project a fake luscious green if in reality, it was exactly the same as what they're displaying in the silo?
loading replies
@jlchamberlain so that people feel the urge to clean the sensor to try and show others what they think is the reality that the sensor being dirty prevents them from seeing.
Just as expected, watched 10 episodes of this show to have almost no questions answered and it ends on a cliffhanger. It's a very a big ask of the viewers these days to get engaged in shows like these, when there's zero guarantee it gets to the end of the plot before the platform decides to cancel it.
I'm not familiar with the books but as others pointed it, season 1 only covers a portion of it. Why? Why does it have to take 6 seasons to get to the end, when there's clearly no need. Ep 4-7 were fillers, wasting times. They couldve made 12 episodes, cut some subplots and probably finish the whole first book.

@szba98 If you're just watching a show to see what happens, and don't care about the character moments, just read the wiki page and save yourself hours.

Anybody catch that blink and you'll miss it moment when the lights went off? The filter on the screens turned off and you could see the green grass, for just a split second. Wonder if anybody in the Silo noticed it.
loading replies
@morphinapg Yeah they noticed, you could hear several people whisper things like "did you see that?" after it happened.
This is turning into big pile of poo. Will it tie all together? I highly doubt it
