"Why are two of my windows tinted?"
Is Tom Cruise getting into politics? Did Scientology produce this? I like Tom Cruise, but what was the point of this puff piece?
Really enjoying this series, but... How is the headset suddenly working when it was broken in a previous episode? If it's a backup, where was it in the previous episode when they were almost shot down? These things can totally ruin a show for me.
Reminds me of Sliders from the 90s.
Maybe it's because I'm autistic, but I can't imagine anyone giving up that easily. The pilot opening the cockpit door to save his lover. She'll probably die anyway, now you can add the lives of countless more. There are reasons why these rules are in place. And I doubt a trained professional would break them in a case like this. Ruins the entire show for me and I was really looking forward to this. First strike, two to go.
Fell asleep. Didn't bother to finish later.
As a judge, his prints should already be in the system.
It was a pleasant surprise to hear a familar voice from my childhood, Don Novello aka Father Guido Sarducci. Otherwise, this felt like two unfinished and completely different movies stitched together. At times very pretty, but a waste of use of such talent all around.
Loved this episode until the end. How can a show be so smart, & so stupid at the same time?
"You should be flattered. OJ Simpson is one of the most recognized people on the face of the planet." I'm watching this episode for the first time, and OJ actually died yesterday.
Started & Ended strong. The middle was blah. Hoping season 2 is better.
Great season, but there are sci-fi/spiritual aspects that don't fit the "True Detective" style. This would have done better on it's own.
Skip the last episode. Very disappointing.
Currently living in Yuma, the lettuce capital of the world. So got a bit of a giggle near the beginning.
Good story building to start the show. A lot gets covered without being overwhelming.
Always a pleasure to see Lori Petty on the screen.
Good, but I think I've already got it figured out. Hopefully, I'll be surprised.
I really want to see this, but it's my understanding it won't ever be released. Please tell me this isn't true.
This has way too many great actors to be this bad.
Willy's Wonderland is MUCH better.
This season feels much more like a King story than the last. Sadly, so far, it isn't as good. Hope it gets better.
I usually love Hugh Grant, but I couldn't get past him doing a Michael Caine impersonation in this role.
I enjoyed this. I think people who liked Supernatural will like it. Jeremias Meyer could be James McAvoy's son or at least little brother. And Tonio Arango is a dead-ringer for Dennis Christopher.
Loving the 90s vibe! Great job making it feel authentic.
Kinda fun seeing icons of the black & white era swearing. Uncensored FTW!
WTF did I just watch?
This movie could have been so much more with a bit of editing. It tries to be too much of everything, & so sadly fails at it all. The individual stories could have been touching, but they got lost in the Caligula treatment of gratuitous sex for shock value.
Every season I find myself thinking I would have LOVED this in my 20s. Sadly, I'm currently in my 50s & often wonder why I'm wasting my time. But I still watch the next season, hoping...
I only made it 16 minutes into the first episode before I had to turn it off. That's all I needed to understand why this is on a lot of critics' 'worst of' lists. Very disappointed because I love so many people in this cast.
It started strong (9s & 10s), but the last few episodes were disappointing (5s & 6s). I thought I'd be excited for season 2, but currently, I really don't care if I see this play out.
