Comedy: This is very funny indeed, drawing comedy from a number of sources. The core trio obviously generates most of the laughs, but much is made of the big name guest stars and the Hollywood stuff. Character: Charles’ genuine concern for his missing friend, Mabel having an early mid-life crisis, and Oliver falling more and more in love with Loretta; all played for real and thoroughly enjoyable. Mystery: This has the potential to be the best murder mystery yet. It’s certainly the most infuriating so far, with us knowing things for most of the episode that the characters didn’t. 10/10
