The movie was good for one thing: continuously making you think it was over, just for the main character to find a way to keep going. Does that make it a good movie? no, it wasn't that great. Another example of a good premise that was wasted with boring plot points and a lack of any real substance. That being said, it gave you a real sense of not knowing who to trust and what the big plan was going to culminate into. However, the ending was a huge disappointment. They had an opportunity to turn around and say "AHA this all went according to our master plan" but instead they relied on overused, overdone or just unexciting tropes to catch the main character. Which, of course, ended with the "its not over yet, he's got another trick up his sleeve. Stick around for a part two ??" Regardless, it wasn't a complete waste of time. I just wish they perhaps focused more on the forensic/criminal psychologist who had extremely interesting descriptors and dialogue to add. The main character was uninteresting in comparison, it didn't feel like he should have been the lead. So many things felt unanswered too, if this whole trap was set for him, why was it so easy for him to figure things out? If this was supposed to be a cat and mouse game, why did it lack any suspense? To conclude, watch it if you think you'll enjoy it, just don't expect much!
