I'm sure I am in the minority when I say that I don't understand the hype.... The story is a poor and the whole film is set piece heavy for the sake of fan service. I like Deadpool and the Wolverine myself but didn't think was anywhere near as good as expected and not as good as the first Deadpool movies.
Well worth the watch because it was funny with some excellent action scenes and dialogue, BUTT those smacking bits got me, I just had tears in my eyes from laughing so much at that scene OUCH.! is all I'll say so you can see it for yourselves, enjoy ;-)
This must be the most meta movie I've seen in quite some time. References to 90's superheroes, 80's music, back to the origins of what deadpool was with fights and comedy. It feels like home, good job.
As someone who isnt interested in the MCU, this is still a fun watch. For my own personal taste, alot of the jokes were not funny to me, but I accept that others will find this hilarious. There were several fight scenes that were truly spectacular or clever. You definitely have to be plugged into the MCU to full understand everything. I have to admire Ryan Reynolds for sticking to a specific style of comedy and being able to pull it off with such a huge budget.
no real story, doesnt matter, im here for the jokes. lol
Okay I'll merge the branch and the kids are ready when we go to bed early last week I was using the same as wild or no one is
sorry yo, but I hated the plot. Never a fan of the time travel stuff. still funny, but plot's pretty important yo
This was a fun movie but it played out like a pure cash grab more than anything. They played far too much into the traits of Deadpool that made him unique and quirky in the beginning like constantly breaking the 4th wall was done FAR too much. The sexual references were kind of cringe worth after a while (and usually he's breaking the 4th wall when he makes them) and it's just over the top.
Jackman gets a pretty small role, and they made sure to give cameos to the other MCU folks and it just fell flat. It felt like just pandering honestly.
I'm not saying this was a bad movie, but I do hope this is the end of Deadpool because I didn't like it enough as a sequel to believe that anything else in the future will be worth the watch.
I thought I would have a different view on the second view but my opinion is unchanged. Subpar plot but made up with great humor, exciting action sequences, nostalgic cameos, and a well portrayed villain.
What a work of art. Hit me right in the nostalgia. Only thing we can say is, "I was there".
This movie was lit, it was fun to watch and it seemed Like the People who made it had the Chance to include their ideas.
It wasnt political correct or some shi.
More quality stuff Like that and the Future will be bright.
LOVE IT!!!!
It's not perfect, but the not so great bits are more than compensated for by the awesome bits.
10/10
Disney should promote Ryan Reynolds as their new CEO.
All hype, no substance. The finale was 2 guys holding hands and saying "aahhh". They didn't even transformed into Gotenks. mehh 5/10.
utter garbage not worthy of your time. whole franchise is crumbling.
They seriously ruined logan. I know deadpool ruin everything but wolverine, F......k.
Movie was awesome until Disney fucked it all up with their woke bullshit! If I’d known beforehand it was a Disney production I’d never watched it. Go woke go broke. Fuck that shit!
this movie went absolutely nowhere. and so did our heroes.
Seems like some of these people are forgetting that they are watching a Deadpool movie.
Personally I love it, the chemistry, the banter, the jokes, the cameo especially with X 23 and Logan reunion. Although it is lacking in the story department imo that is fine because was not a single dull moment and the ride from start to end was just hella fun.
Easily top 3 for marvel phrase 4-5 movies.
This movie makes me want to watch all x-men and old mcu movies again. Thank you Ryan and Hugh we love you
Second watch:
I love this movie more and more every second. The old clip montage always pulls at my heart strings
"I hope you had the time of your life"
:heart::heart::heart:
A solid 6. I don't know what's supposed to be so awesome :type_1_2:♂
I was really disappointed in this movie. I don't know, maybe it's I'm older now, but I didn't find it funny like I used too. Forced humour. Tired of everything with the multiverse. After 80 minutes I had to take a break, wondering if it's ever getting better, but no it didn't.
I don't know if it's Marvel or Shawn Levy but this wasn't doing it for me. It's got a multiverse of cameos and jokes, but just like the movie itself, it's a little too much. The overused multiversal 'shortcutting' plot already feels excruciating, and the cardboard visuals wash out even the beast that is Wolverine. Luckily the actors seemed more than dedicated and the pace was constant, even if it's a wobbly one. A lot of this felt like last-minute prioritising, although the designs, choreography, and score took me apart like string cheese. I just hope they get creative with the multiverse method soon.
Mr. Paradox was just the worst. His accent is soooo bad and I don't care if it is real.
That mid-credits tribute to the FoX-Men universe was an unexpected punch to the nostalgia. Man, it's still so wild to realize how close we got to Dougray Scott playing Logan/Wolverine in the first X-Men movie; were it not for him being injured in that stupid motorcycle mid-air collision in Mission: Impossible II, the world never would've met Hugh Jackman's Logan. Also Johnny Storm actually being the one who really did say all that shit about Nova is one of my favorite jokes of the movie. It's such a Wade Wilson way to describe someone, so it was totally believable that Wade made that up on the spot and got Johnny killed for it, only to find out that...yep, Johnny actually said it. After 14 years of Chris Evans playing such a straight-laced nice guy like Steve Rogers, that curse-filled rant coming out of his mouth was the cherry on top of an already delicious sundae.
Quite an accomplishment: A movie, with bathroom humor that only Junior high boys might get a kick out of. Yet it's rated R because it's too vile, vulgar, and bloody for them to see.
First of all, I think it's definitely worth watching. Deadpool, we have already seen in this movie that the Marvel universe has a very important place. The other scenes that surprised me the most were the heroes. The Fantastic Four, the Card-Throwing Guy, and the Girl in the X-Men. It's beautiful and definitely fun. Normally, I would add the movie to my favorites, but they went into a lot of humor and comedy. I'm only breaking 1 star. Other than that, it's even monitored just for entry. I would love to see Loki in this multiverse. Anyway, it was nice in a nutshell. Definitely watch it, have fun.
An average movie, a very confusing script with its many parallel approaches to the main story. The characters are nice, but the need to include jokes in every minute of speech becomes annoying. The action scenes are very well done, with a good dose of gore. Overall, it's a predictable and repetitive movie, lacking a more relevant story.
Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) - :heart:x9
SO MUCH FUN!!!! This has so many quick one liners and in-jokes - you really need to watch this at least 2 or 3 times to catch it all. And Reynolds and Jackman are awesome together. And just so, so, sooo many cameos.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
Garbage dumb so don't waste ur time
Very good movie. I recommend it 100%. Loved the nostalgic iconic characters return too. Hoping to see a lot more of Wolverine tho, we need Hugh to be the wolverine until he dies unfortunately.
lulz so random xD part 3
Very disappointing.
This one won't get repeat viewings.
This is the ultimate tribute movie to the X-Men Universe.
It only took 20 fu$%ing years... looks at camera raising eyebrows
It took Deadpool ressurecting, Fox dying and Logan being desecrated to finally get Wolverine right.
Short Wolverine, Brown costume Wolverine, Patches, Age of Apocalypse Wolverine, freaking X-Crucified Wolverine?!
I have lost hope a long time ago of ever seeing any of those near the big screen.
Also seeing Aaron Stanford back as Pyro was a delight. I have recently watched the outstanding 12 Monkeys show and man, when he said they were going to see "Cassandra" my brain totally short-circuited!
BEST ENDING SCENE EVER.
and you can quote me.
The first hour is a pain. Deadpool's humour and ponderousness are awkward, and contrast with Wolverine's darkness. It's only after the first hour that the film really takes off, carried entirely by a grandiose Hugh Wolverine. A top film, even if you have to sit through the first hour. But after that... mama mia, it's just crazy. A must see. Hugh really is a great actor. Ps: I'm worried about Deadpool 4...
Definitely the best out of the 3 Deadpool movies, even if it’s just for the laughs.
Definitely not a comeback from the MCU.
Definitely the funniest shid I've seen in a while.
I wasn't expecting it, but I went home oddly satisfied. I thought Disney could fuck up this too, but luckily this movies always got some sort of freedom that let them do almost whatever they want to. Because that's what makes them so different.
On a sad note, I would've loved if the movie could've been more of an adaptation of "Deadpool kills the Marvel universe".
"They're gonna make him do this till he's 90."
This movie brought so much joy to me and the audience I watched it with. Do they lean on nostalgia? Sure.. but there is an actual story here as well. In a way it is a closure and love letter to Fox's Marvel era and there are actual heartwarming moments. Just when you think it would just be jokes, they take some things serious, and we appreciate it.
Laughed so hard throughout this movie. It was emotional at times, but mostly a complete chaotic mess - exactly why you'd want to watch a Deadpool movie. Oh, and Wolverine is just as hot as he has always been, so there's that too.
I really liked it. Even though I really liked it, I found it the worst of the deadpool related movies. Worth a watch and i did love the cameos of the old. I just found it went into a genre i wasnt in to.
Good fun as usual from "Deadpool". Hugh Jackman was excellent as "Wolverine".
Some good cameo performances as well. :thumbsup_tone1:
And "Mary Poppins" OMW! :dog: That dog :dog:.
Worth a watch. :thumbsup_tone1:
Can't say I expected some of the fantastic cameos we got here. Fan service galore and entertaining as hell. Great stuff. 8.4
I'm glad to see jackman as wolverine once again.
Watched this tonight was a lot of fun but I forgot all about the impending doom machine thing until the last 15 minutes as it’s mentioned once and then not at all.
Really fun though!
An excellent addition to the Deadpool tomfoolery. 50% Rated-R jokes, 50% waayyy over the top fight scenes, 10% plot, and 80% breaking the fourth wall. The math checks out, this one’s a Deadpool movie
Pros: Comical as you'd expect. Action scenes are great. Cons: a little bit too much 4th wall breaking especially mid-convo with other characters.
Good movie. Felt a bit inauthentic to the previous two movies.
Don’t know why people are really acclaiming the movie but it’s just “Mid”. Take off the special appearances and it’s even worse although RR & HJ were really great.
A little overboard on the wall breaking and the tracking shot scene was fantastic, but seemed useless and out of place. I get why they did it and it was cool, but it was pointless. I think they wasted a potentially good villain they could have built up (I know zero about the comics) and overall this seemed like an MCU plot filler to bridge to the next set of movies. Otherwise it was enjoyable, great jokes and action scenes on par with the first two.
Just what I expected from Deadpool movie. Dick jokes, breaking 4th wall and making fun of super heroes movies. Great
Big budget fan service iteration of the previous Deadpool movies. Ticks all the boxes of quips and references and mangling the fourth wall but overdoing it in an otherwise plain and unsurprisingling template superhero adventure flick. Without the charm of the previous flicks. And some surprisingly bad rubberman CGI.
Overhyped, but it had its moments. Got a reminder why I dislike x-men in general.
This was pure gold and this actually gave me high hopes for the upcoming movies. The amount of self criticism was like a realisation of the mess they made since Endgame. Let's hope the future looks as bright as this hilarious movie!
Entertaining and fun, but the Time Variance Authority or whatever is the worst part of the current MCU and the stakes are too rooted in multiverse shenanigans to feel "real".
Haven't laughed that much in a very long time. Everything was great.
An instant favourite. I watched this movie in cinema 2 times, and will probably watch it a couple more times. I love comedies and this is a really fun and effective comedy. The casting works, jokes are not forced or repetitive, plot is kept at a bare minimum. I just love this type of humour and this type of movie so that is very subjective. The guideline is - if you liked the first two movies (especially the first one) you will like this one. I'ts more of that but with Wolverine.
What I also liked is that there isn't too much tied in content, like you eneded to watch last 5 movies or 3 TV shows to understand what's what. There is some exposition for some stuff from Loki. If i missed any other references or related content than I guess it didn't matter.
10/10 ez
"You put a Deadpool and a Wolverine together, make 'em hold hands while listening to Madonna? Indestructible."
My friend dragged me along to go see this even though I hadn't finished my X-Men marathon yet. It was fine.
It was fine because I don't think watching all the X-Men movies would've added much weight to this weightless story.
It was fine because it didn't spoil anything for me aside from Logan, which Deadpool 2 already spoiled.
And it was fine because it didn't really have much of a story at all, but I did laugh a bunch.
"Gubernatorial."
It was okay. Not sure what it was trying to be. Too many spoilers on YouTube. I did love Johnny Storm and Gambit's choice of expletives as they outdid Deadpool.
What a crazy blast.A pure cinematic candy.Ryan and Hugh are awesome.Marvel found it's mojo again.
What a pleasant surprise from Marvel. I laughed hard throughout and held my breath at times. The plot was whatever but the whole package was fun, exciting, and bloody. I hoped to see a Sabretooth/Wolverine fight but the Wolverine/Deadpool fight definitely make up for it. If you like crude humor and action sequences, definitely watch
Once the cameos start pouring in left, right and center, it stops feeling like a movie and more like action figures smashing against each other. Like Spider-Man: No Way Home, but with more swearing and less of a solid emotional core.
At least a lot more of the jokes landed this time around.
Although I tend to find the humor of the previous Deadpool films a tad tedious, this time it didn't bother me as much. The plot makes no sense, but I found most skits and gags fairly entertaining.
Judging by the end credits montage, this film was supposed to be a tribute to the now-defunct Fox/Marvel universe. Too bad that Wolverine is the only major character from the franchise to appear in the film. Many get mentioned more than once, but they’re nowhere to be found. At that point, I would have focused on the fanservice of seeing the two protagonists interact in completely new contexts rather than bringing back to life characters no one ever felt the urge to revisit again.
the fun parts were super fun but the plot took itself a bit too seriously and i got very annoyed with the typical mcu stuff like the long ass tva monologue i dont care i didnt watch loki!!!!
This is the best dead pool in the franchise so far.
On paper, Deadpool and Wolverine is genius, in reality it's more of a rollercoaster ride sprinkled with crazy battles, cameos, references and unnecessary "maturity". I am all for foul language but at some point it's too much and I roll my eyes. No, saying "fuck" every 5 seconds does not make something mature, it does the opposite and becomes childish. Sure, that's Deadpool, but the foul graphic language should serve a purpose and not just be all of the dialogue, turning it all into running diarrhea that goes in one ear, out the other. Now, the cinematic IMAX experience with this movie was unmatched, and I really enjoyed the concept of it and all the action scenes were glorious. It falters in way of story telling and dialogue but it is a god damn good action movie. The fan edits are gonna save this one for sure, trim some of the fat and you got a 8/10 Marvel movie.
Ayiii Shapat, if you are not watching this shithousery in Hindi, you are missing out everything. I watched both the version. Sure, the orginal audio got the Easter eggs and foreshadowing dialogues better but bhau yeh Hindi kya aatank machaya hai bhidu. Like completely senseless dialogue writing based on the pop culture in India and most importantly over the top cringe lines makes it the superior version. Geeky moments chalti rahegi bhidu but pehle tu mera ek chapri joke sun. Maze dila diya Bhediya Bhaiya aur Mrityutalaab bhai ne. Esko kehte hai godlevel super level ussse bhi uper level dialogue writing. Bole toh zyada khopdi ka istemaal na karo aur maze karo. Haso, khelo, muskurao, jiyooo kya pata kal ho na ho. But enn mutants logo ka kal zarur aata hai. Cameos were the only usp for me. And the greatest point is Deadpool taking direct dig on the studios ka lafda. Yeh hui na baat. Maza aaya. Kya mai yeh doobara dekhunga? Ji nahi. Esse accha eske osts sunn lunga. Kya dimaagphatak gaane daala hai re lala. System hila diya. :skull:
Best Deadpool film and Best Marvel film since Endgame. It's still a Deadpool film, nothing epic or life changing. It's goofy and shallow and the main plot is Sh1t and GenZ Dr. X is completely retarded. If Wolverine wasn't in it it would FLOP completely. But its the best of its kind. Rate 7. 5/10
Rated a Connor 10, normal 9
I hope you weren’t too excited for Laura or Sabretooth after seeing the trailers, as they’re hardly in this. Hugh looks amazing with the classic suit and cowl and is even able to display his acting chops in one particular scene, but overall I found myself disappointed not only with the team up, but the decision to bring back Wolverine for such a middling film after such a perfect finale.
it is not bad, but I'll be entirely honest I expected more.
This film has such a weak connection to the first two films which was kinda disappointing. It’s like they created everything around Wolverine and all the cameos and put the smallest thought into a storyline.
It was still a fun watch, but not as good as the first two films
Fan service, but it's okay.
best romance movie of the decade hands down
Deadpool and Wolverine: A collision of chaos and claws that will leave you breathless.. Epic.
Peak superhero movie. Nevermind Endgame, this is the one.
Nothing special and falls under the Marvel trouble of stakes that are so big you just don’t care. Continues the pattern of making any of Deadpool’s same-sex attraction a source for humour rather than giving it even one serious moment to make it more than a joke. Was happy to see Jennifer Garner kick ass again!
Amusing as the Deadpool series always are
A dream team I hope they keep working together whether be in the mcu or any other project.
Only violence and flat jokes. Boring as hell
Absolutely fantastic, loved it from start to finish!
Hilarious, cool, and dripping with style.
Hype was insanely high and it mostly delivered for me. This is exactly as we expected, which is good, but is also one of the few disappointments for me (if you can even call it that). It is an amazing Deadpool-movie, with great jokes, fourth wall-breaking, story and multiverse cameos. But did it surprise me and bring something unexpected? Not really. I left the theater with a weird feeling because of it. I had a great time, but I wanted to be surprised by Marvel Jesus and that just didn't happen the way I hoped.
Second viewing today in iMax and just gets better!
"Baby Knife"
Minus a point cause they didn't have a 5 hour sex scene:broken_heart:
Yes, a great movie for the fans, but the story made no sense. I'm glad to see Wesley Snipes as Blade once again.
The one and only Blade.
Why is Thor crying? :joy:
Had an absolute blast watching this with friends. One friend loved it so much he urged me to watch it again. I mean... I wanted to watch it again too but we never rewatch movies in theaters because, you know, money.
Another brilliant deadpool movie, full of blood thristy easter egg action with a hilarious sense of humour and glad to see hugh jackman with his wolverine role back, he was awesome! It broke the 4th wall even more! Now this is how the MCU should be always!
I loved every minute of it.
Very disappointed.
From the moaning about studios to the overall story Disnsy you have completely destroyed my love of these characters.
I guess the money was more important to everyone than the storyline.
Complete garbage.
Rarely is a third return to the same place successful. This one was even better, although the film is better received when you know the intricacies of Loki. +1 for mentioning Fox legacy in the end credits. :)
I think it is inferior to the previous two Deadpool movies. The references and jokes were on steroids in this one.
The main problem I felt was that everyone seemed as careless and dumb as Deadpool himself, even the plot was a freaking joke.
Logan though, now he actually seems like himself. A few of the action scenes are a bit goofy with him, but still very enjoyable having him back with us.
Still better than most recent MCU stuff though. So go watch it+
A bunch of action scenes. Over told jokes. Crappy plot. But all in all, it was an entertaining movie. And yes, it is a MUST WATCH!
I had some letdowns but overall it was a pretty fun movie, the usual deadpool
Well cant unsee it. Wolverine with mask looks like 2 batmans (man) kissing
Loud, shrill, dirty, brutal, somehow honest, sometimes mean and above all fanservice deluxe.
Deadpool & Wolverine is cool, but nothing more. I really enjoyed watching it in the cinema last night, but throughout I had the feeling that the film couldn't decide whether to be a serious Marvel film or wacky Deadpool action, which rarely takes itself seriously and underlines this several times when breaking through the 4th wall.

This was fun. I saw it in a d-box experience so got chair shaking which was a fun add on. Better I'd imagine on a film like twisters, but this was still cool. It was a fun goofy movie with some nice character moments and a bunch of fun cameos. I'm not in any rush to rewatch it, but i had a good time. The credits montage of behind the scenes from the older films was really cute, made me a little emotional.

Dynamic Duo Delivers in “Deadpool & Wolverine” (2024)
I’ve been eagerly anticipating the team-up of Deadpool and Wolverine for years, and “Deadpool & Wolverine” (2024) truly lives up to the hype. The chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is everything fans could hope for—each playing off the other with perfect timing, blending Deadpool’s chaotic humor with Wolverine’s gruff, no-nonsense attitude. This dynamic makes their interactions an absolute joy to watch, infusing every scene with energy. The film captures the essence of a comic book adventure, offering a fast-paced, action-packed story that stays true to the spirit of its characters. It doesn’t just rely on nostalgia; it delivers a fresh take on their relationship, filled with witty banter and explosive sequences. As a comic book fan, I found it immensely satisfying—the kind of film that makes you feel like a kid again, flipping through the pages of your favorite issue, now brought to life on the big screen.
