JJ IS BACK!! and that little reunion with his little boy had me tearing up.

Snowpiercer: 4x05 The Engineer

Wilford being involved and working for the bad guys seems perfectly reasonable in the kind of world we live in, I'm not even surprised. I was surprised at how quickly they got Big Alice back, I think they wasted a bit too much time in the first half of the episode and some editing might've fixed that. Wilford holding Liana at the end of the episode felt too super villain-y to me, but that was probably pay back for the team taking Big Alice back. And then the thing with Ben dying and Bess realising that he planned to sacrifice himself, MY HEART. I've always loved Ben, but it made sense, he carries the weight of the world and he wants to fix other people's mistakes. They didn't have Josie so this was their only option, he knew that. His little moment of "Come on Engineer!" as heart breaking.

Snowpiercer: 4x04 North Star

ROCHE??!!! ROCHE!!?? 2/4 episodes have ended with Oz yelling for people to come back. This better not end like the last time.

The Acolyte: 1x05 Night

I really liked this episode: the make-up was grimy, the battles were cool, the stakes were HIGH (my faves killed in a span of 4 episodes???) BUT MOST OF ALL, I'd just like to say, for an episode called 'Night', I was surprised the lighting was so good that I could ACTUALLY see what was happening! A pet peeve of mine with a lot of recent shows (in Star Wars as well) is that whenever it's night, I cannot see a thing. Here I was instantly happily surprised that I could.

Snowpiercer: 4x02 The Sting of Survival

I am so glad I was right about my prediction that this episode would focus mostly on the crew on the Snowpiercer! It was once again nice, though the ending part felt a bit rushed. I don't know if it's because they spend too much time with the boarding or because they're still going to tell us a whole lot that happened during the last months on Snowpiercer, but the teaser for next week looked absolutely promising and I cannot wait to see what's become of my fave lil Detective Till ;-;

Snowpiercer: 4x01 Snakes in the Garden

Fantastic start! I was looking forward to this so much that I probably hyped it up way more than I should've, but it definitely delivered on what I was hoping for. More Oz, some happiness in the small new colony they created, and that nice air of mystery for Layton to solve (which I love so much about season 1). I am freaking sad about Zara though! I know she wasn't much liked, but she grew on me, and I definitely see the survivor instinct she had to develop and how it made her the person she was. She was a well-written character in my eyes and though her death was horrifying - especially in front of her child - it also worked so well with who she was. All in all, I cannot wait for the next episode! I hope it will focus solely on Snowpiercer like this one focussed solely on the new colony, it is a very good way to get re-acquitted with the characters we've left behind.

Farzi: 1x08 Crash and Burn

This was SO GOOD, I tried to only watch 1 episode at a time, but these last two were so engaging and intense that I just had to sit through them. This show did really well in making me sit at the edge of my seat and feel for all the characters. I need a second season.

Blood & Water: 4x01 Beware of Things Buried

I'm loving all these new characters who got introduced.

Extrapolations: 1x01 2037: A Raven Story

Oef, this show is INTENSE. Very realistic (though we might be looking at a worse situation in 2037). The one thing that made me tear up though (aside from the intro speech) was the idea of a Palestinian and Israeli state living side by side together in peace.

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist: 1x09 Zoey's Extraordinary Silence

Wow, this episode was emotional and beautiful. The ASL musical number was beautiful and the story between the father and daughter as well. Made me tear up inside. Also Tobin is growing on me, the last two episodes his small parts were wonderful. I feel like it was a great choice to have him be the one who knows ASL. I don't care much for the love triangle, but I am so here for Zoey's brother and his wife talking like grown-ups about how they feel. Brilliant choice of song regarding that story beat, I'm a fan.

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist: 1x04 Zoey's Extraordinary Neighbor

Four episodes in and for a while there the Pilot was my favourite episode, but this one is incredible as well. The story line with Mo is interesting and nice, but I also love Zoey trying to talk with her other neighbour. It's so nice to see kindness on tv.

La Brea: 3x06 The Road Home (2)

I feel so bad for the people who made this that they had to rush it all in 6 episodes. HOWEVER, some of the previous episodes also had some stuff in there that they could've left out in favour of setting up the finale better. All in all, I'm happy Scott & Lucas are still alive and 'family' ;-; and sad about Levi dying.

La Brea: 2x13 The Journey (1)

I love all the inconsistencies. Very clear that they either swapped the writer team for this season or they forgot what they wrote for the first season.

Scot's anxiety being healed by a single event... I really hope the show runners don't do this to me. I want this character to have more of a journey.

"we've been waiting for three years"

My favourite parts of this season so far has been Brother Constant and Polly.

Kaala Paani: 1x07 Darwin's Bay

Wow. This was intense. This was something. So much surprised me but also really didn't. I am, softly spoken, in SHAMBLES.

Guns & Gulaabs

I freaking love this series! It's fun, it's thrilling, the characters are amazing. It really gives me Tarantino vibes in the best sense. And the ending is very satisfying! With all the stories betting wrapped up fantastically, and every episode having led to them. Honestly, go watch this show! Do yourself a favour and enjoy the silliness and great story-lines!

Sex Education: 4x05 Episode 5

We get our first openly ace character on the main supporting cast (and not a one-off side character like earlier), and this happens. ;-; Felt like a very manipulative move.

I hope Maeve is alright, her journey this season feels so intense and emotional, and I am rooting for her to get on top at the end of it. I am glad Aimee is such a supportive friend, and I am glad Otis told her eventually because it would've just gotten worse and worse if he didn't, but now he needs to make it up to her.

Meanwhile I am just reminding myself that these are still teenagers and they make all kinds of stupid decisions. The only one who needs to get her stuff together asap is the aunt.

Also Beau is giving me a weird vibe, I feel something is off with him.

BLUELOCK: 1x23 Luck

Watched it in Japanese and I am still chuckling at the voices for the World Five, some sound like AI, most sound like Japanese voice actors attempting an accent. All in all, it's wonderful and I love it.

The Great: 3x01 The Bullet or the Bear

Alright, I did not see that ending coming at all. I am sad. Orlo was my favourite character, I loved how chaotic he became with every season that progressed, and now that's over... I guess it's because the actor got different roles. But regardless, I'm going to have to take a moment before I continue the rest of the season. It feels a little weird to have lost the one character who really wanted for Peter to die, and I will miss the perspective he brought to the story, hopefully they'll have a character who will take his place.

Ted Lasso: 3x06 Sunflowers

I definitely loved this episode even more because I'm from the Netherlands.

The "gezellig" boat guy is my favourite. I feel like one thing a lot of Dutch people have in common is that when we learn that the word has no translation in English, we INSTANTLY feel proud, and this episode felt gezellig. I also loved the Andre Hazes quip and Jan being excited about Groningen. (Though I personally would've thought it funny if they all took the train to Groningen). Also the bike thing... the old guy stealing the bikes, CLASSIC. Jamie & Roy in general, I love them.

And then of course, the part that followed Colin and Trent, my heart. I was crying. It's been a thing here in the Netherlands, and that already made me hyper-focussed on that storyline, but the fact that they choose this location to further it feels like it has a double meaning to me. Which I can really appreciate.

I may just watch this episode again because SO MUCH happened in it.

The Red Line: 1x02 We Are Each Other's Harvest

Two episodes in and not only am I hooked, this is one of the best things I've seen in MONTHS. The emotion, the struggle, the current themes, but also the feeling that this is still extremely current, even though this show aired four years ago.

The Great: 2x03 Alone at Last

ORLO IS AN ACE KING! This show makes me so happy in general, but Orlo being written as asexual just adds ten cubes of awesomeness to it. ;-;

Willow: Behind the Magic

Ruby Cruz and Erin Kellyman getting emotional about representing queer characters made me emotional. As did Amar Chadha-Patel basically saying he'd always wanted to be a Han Solo/Indiana Jones type of character. Even if this show only gets on season, I am glad to have gotten something as hopeful as this.

Willow: 1x08 Children of the Wyrm

I am begging Disney to renew this, that cliffhanger was great, and I freaking adore all the characters to such a point that I was crying/sad eyes whenever a character presumed dead or left the main cast behind. I freaking love the tone, it's less serious than most other shows out there, especially fantasy series. It has helped me get through the past weeks, I've laughed out loud, I've cried, I've felt all the emotions, but mostly I was excited for Wednesday! So thank you Willow, for making me excited about Wednesday!

Willow: 1x01 The Gales

I loved this! I understand it has its flaws, but it's light-hearted and a great nod to the source material. I love the team-up, it feels forced, but the characters work well together. Shout out to Boorman! A Legend. Dove grew on me very fast, and I feel like there is more to her than we know. While I enjoyed Airk, I'm glad he's the one who got kidnapped. And the guard dying was so dry, I loved it. I expected him to perish, and he did only a few seconds after I said it out loud.

Hocus Pocus 2

Did they really need a redemption arc? I feel like this movie was missing all the heart of the original story, where the other characters who weren't the Sandersons drove the story forward, where the death of a small girl resulted in her brother being trapped for centuries, and the eventual outcome was both happy and sad at the same time. This one was just... meh.
