This episode was complete filler.
fatima licking her fingers like the blood was some kentucky fried chicken goodness was so fucking nasty :joy:
but the season is halfway through and instead of relevant resolutions they said here’s a new character and a creepy puppet (???) to boot.
this shit better be worth it in the end i stg :sob:
Solid return to the series to kick off Season 3. Not without at least a few lines of cheesy dialog, in typical From fashion.
I'm interested to see how they solve the food issue. They need 3 months for new crops, and only had a month or two worth of animals/meat. Then they lost a few animals too.
Also pretty weird to see the monsters take a hostage. I hope we get a good explanation next episode that isn't convenient plot magic aka Boyd's impenetrable plot armor.
Overall, I can't shake the feeling that this will have a really dumb ending. For now, I'm enjoying the ride and trying to ignore that feeling.
First part is enjoyable, if a bit badly written, second part after the concert just gets dumber and dumber, no twists at all, lame ending.
It started off interesting, but by the second half it went so horribly wrong and boring.
It’s like M.Night Shyamalan made this movie purely to try make his daughters singing career a thing. Then there’s her acting… so painful to watch.
I really had high hopes for this one, but it’s a massive letdown :( Great to see Josh Hartnett back on the big screens and shirtless. Smash
tabitha’s entire ‘escape’ was the definition of meeting one’s destiny on the road they take to avoid it :sob: sucks for her but im glad she’s back because i found the town scenes super boring. victors dad was simply not compelling.
also dale is annoying but funny,
”Who the fuck likes it anywhere? It’s a forest full of nightmares!”
LOL literally.

wrt tone and pacing, this is my favourite episode so far, but seeing as the season’s a third of the way through, they could stand to pick up the pace of the overall plots. they’re a couple of extraneous elements that are clearly there to pad out the time instead of contributing to character/plot/atmosphere and after 3 seasons, i need more than vibes; it’s time for some solid answers. at least one major one.
I don't care what anyone says, I love this show! And honestly I don't think there will be a big reveal that explains what the hell is going on, I think it will end similar to how "Lost" ended, with even more questions.
I thoroughly enjoyed the series, but the twist at the end was kind of lame imo. This will still earn a high rating from me, but it seems like the writers took the least likely conclusion for the sake of shock value alone.
[Big Spoiler Alert]
I find it hard to believe that there wasn't any trace of Jaden's DNA or fingerprints at the crime scene, or at Tommy's place. I was completely absorbed by this show, up until the implausible twist.
While eagerly awaiting the finale, my hunch was that Rusty's son did it and Rusty would take the fall for him. It seems like the writers went to great lengths to make him a red herring, but misdirection is more effective when the actual outcome is just as believable.
full offense but the people who are just now complaining that the show has become "political propaganda" are dumb as fuck. what were you watching the past three seasons. the season 2 nazi villain was named stormfront...it was never subtle. cope
I love the series, but I'm starting to get annoyed by the sheer amount of wildly random mysteries without any semblance of explanation or linkage.
There are also a bunch of inconsistencies throughout the series. Like Boyd who was on a discovery journey so it would make sense that he'd be minimally interested in knowing the old man's story, or what the f*ck he meant by the monsters are not the worst part of all this and then the music box.
It's starting to look like they're pulling a Lost here. Writing a bunch of random crazy sh*t, in the hope that someday they can find some good explanation for it, and we all know how that went.
Sure we get some clues, like the fact that Kristi's fiancee confirmed that the time actually matched her experience... but they're so minimal compared to everything piling up every episode that makes things just annoying.
Glad it's done. I won't be back for the 3rd season. I really think this stupid trope of mystery upon mystery, stringing viewers along without a proper end to the story or even season has to stop.
I mean, 2 seasons and all we know is: kick the music box and the new baddie that we never even get to see, dies. That's it. What was it? What about the other creatures, the worms, the kid, ...?
And now, without finishing one story, they set up Tabitha to start the 3rd season. No thank you, I already can't stand her and now to watch an entire 3rd season of filler episodes of her looking to get back to her family? Kill me now.
I didn't even mind that her daughter or the others were dying, good riddance I thought, since they were all annoying. I even cackled when she went out the window, but no, she has to be alive.
I think that's the problem here. Besides Kenny, Donna and Boyd, really everyone else can die off, I wouldn't care.
I'm really disappointed because it started so good.
Sorry everyone, rant over.
I’m not sure I like where they’re going with this old-man-tied-to-the-wall-of-a-castle stuff. And the whole passing-on-the-parasite thing.
If they keep creating more questions before providing any answers, the show will go south. That’s when things stop being entertaining and the frustration begins.
It’s just a shame that Boyd’s son getting married takes up some of the season finale. As well as a lot of other scenes with just talking.
We at least got a Victor and Tabitha scene. I wish the show had like 15 episodes a season. Since we don’t get many answers and then the season is over.
That ending was pretty crazy though.
The mom has been so f'ing dumb these past two episodes, it's really frustrating. Adding that dumb cop lady as an added frustration was a genius move by the writers.
And I thought it couldn't get worse than e05? Well, here we are. Boring, lazy, unbelievably bad cuts, lack of sense and simple logic with many connection errors.
This episode managed to have me lose nearly any sense of logic in the overall setting. I don't even want to write examples... it was just horrible.
I love that there are still MAGA cult morons in the comments screeching about the show going "woke".
They've been mask-off openly mocking you for two seasons now. Surely it can't all be going over your head...right? Right...?
wait, WHAT????!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!??!?!?!!!!! WHAT THE HELL!
I'm seeing a lot of hate towards Skyler here and I just want to know: what exactly would you have done differently in her situation?
If the IRS begins a serious investigation about Ted, it wouldn't take them long to find out that the woman who cooked his books is now running a business that she bought with undeclared money. If Ted goes down, everybody else goes down with him. Skyler didn't ask to be in the situation she's in, and yet, she's the only person that is actually thinking about the consequences of Ted and Walt's actions in the long term and trying to save both their asses in the process.
HOLY COW. One of the most INTENSE AND EXCITING finales to one of the most MIND-BLOWING shows I've seen!!!
I enjoyed this, way better than I had been led to believe
WHAT THE FUCK DID JUST HAPPEN WHAT THE SDAHIOG
This is the 3rd part of the "Alien" saga and I like it a lot. In my opinion it is better than the second part (contrary to almost everybody else's opinion). Why? Because it brings back the horror of "Alien" and drops the unnecessary action-overdose of "Aliens".
Anybody who spends 8 hours watching something they don't enjoy needs a new hobby
I feel like I’m watching a different show than most other commenters - I’m loving every second and the episodes are flying by. It’s tightly written and beautifully executed.
I'm already sick of Sawyer's casanova shtick. Does he ever stop sexually harassing Kate?
I for one like slow burns
I always kind of block out in my memory how bad Kate gets during this time. Oh waaah Jack is spending time with Juliet, time to go have sex to get some kind of revenge. Get over yourself. And the walking in on her changing is eye-rolling, but gotta have your T&A for those ratings.
Wow, there's a couple of questionable Desmond opinions on here. Yeah, he does change the show a bit, but it's for the better.
I look forward to Ana-Lucias death, assuming she does die that is.
